Andreas Gale "Dre" Palmer {18} is the current boyfriend and fellow gang member of Marlee. He takes advantage of her and entices her to smoke and drink. He loves bragging about having a younger girl. Dre's parents have been out of the picture since the day after he was born and he ran away from foster care.

Ariana Bailey George (18) is a senior who really wants Dre and envies Marlee for dating him, especially because she's so young. Ari is used to getting what she wants-- she's rich and her father is a famous producer. She is a liar and a gossip, a total queen bee. Ariana will do anything to get Dre to notice her.

Ashley Joanne George {20} is the older sister to Ari George. She has a different lifestyle than her sister, but it isn't much better. She drinks more alcohol than anyone she knows and she loves to party. Like her sister, she's willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She's living with her dad's best friend, 44 year old business man, and he has a 20 year old son who has a thing for her. Ashley leaves a wake of emotional wreckage behind her, hurting everyone she touches, and she couldn't care less.

Isaac Gregory Keane (20) is the son of Ashley George's boyfriend. He has a total thing for his dad's girlfriend. They often party together, and Isaac has even made out with Ashley a few times when they'd both been drinking. He knows that the entire situation is totally crazy, and wishes that there was a way out of it. Isaac hopes that when he returns to college in the fall that he can find someone else to occupy his time.

Lucy Arabella Keane (13) is Isaac's sister. The whole Ashley ordeal has left her life in pieces-- her dad consumed, her brother consumed, her mother infuriated. Lucy's grades are significantly dropping, she's stopped hanging with her friends. All she does is write in her room. Lucy used to think it would be fun to have Ashley around, but now, she absolutely hates her.

Gregory Duke "Greg" Keane {44} is the father of Isaac and Lucy and the boyfriend of Ashley. Greg is still married to his childrens' mother, but he knows she will soon divorce him. He loves having Ashley living at his house, partially just to make his wife mad. Greg drinks quite a lot and could care less that he wrecked his family.

Karen Miranda Edwards [46] is Lucy's English teacher. She's started to notice that the once happy Lucy has become miserable and that her grades are falling. She is doing everything she can to help Lucy without prying too much. She encourages Lucy to deal with her problems through her writing, Karen has one grown child and a child in high school.

Blair Isabelle Edwards (29) is Karen's oldest. Blair is a detective with NYPD, and a very successful one, too. She has faced prejudice for being a girl in the field, but she doesn't let that slow her down. She is being promoted to the FBI soon. Blair loves her job, but she doesn't have much of a social life because of the time it consumes.

Sidda Karen Edwards-Pyron {9 mo} is the daughter and prized possession of Blair, and the precious granddaughter of Karen. Her middle name is after her grandmother. Though her mom has little-to-no social life, she makes time for Sidda.

Harper Annalise Edwards (17) is Blair's little sister and Sidda's aunt. Harper loves being in nature, taking hikes, and snapping photos of everything. She was an accident, but her mother accommodated her presence into her life and she has been the happiest girl growing up. She rarely sees Blair now, but she loves babysitting Sidda because she sees so much of her sister in the little girl.

Remington Oscar Vance {16} is the boyfriend of Harper Edwards. He is on the quieter side and is known to be tough. His family was dirt poor when he was in elementary school, but since then his father's business has taken off and they have grown to be rather wealthy. He loves spoiling Harper and taking her on adventures.

Calder Isaac Vance (14) is Remington's little brother. He and Remington are very close, seeing as they are the only two children in their family and they went through tough times together. Even though their financial state has grown much better over the years, Calder still acts out from time to time. He is very sporty and popular and has a girlfriend.

Rogan Jones Auster {14} is Calder Vance's best friend. Rogan is a player when it comes to girls, he likes to lead girls on. Calder says he shouldn't mess with them like that, but Rogan likes the attention. At home, he gets hardly any attention because in between his parent's arguing, they barely have time to care for all of his other siblings.

Charlotte "Charlee" India Taylor [14] is has a crush on Rogan, but she seems to be the only girl he doesn't flirt with. She is in the marching band playing trombone, and in math club. She is geeky, and not even her indie wardrobe gets his attention. she is the youngest in her family.

Chandler Arman Taylor {17} is the older brother of Charlee Taylor. Chandler is wanting to pursue a degree in Business when he graduates from high school. He is very smart and studious, but he still makes time for his girlfriend. Both Chandler's mom and dad are very smart, so it is no wonder both he and Charlee are, too.

Lindsey Jacqueline Hadley (17) is Chandler's girlfriend. She models, but is a very good student and wants to be an architect. Lindsey loves designing buildings. They first met when Chandler offered to tutor her in math. They were voted cutest couple in the yearbook last year.

James Clarence "Clare" Hadley, III {19} is Lindsay's older brother. He goes to the University of Michigan on a soccer scholarship. He's a nice guy and is looking for a girl to settle down with, but hasn't had any luck yet. Clare is pretty good with the books, but mostly because he doesn't want there to be any chance of losing his scholarship. His is goalie and was the teams MVP last year, the first freshman ever to be MVP.

Delaney Faith Cartridge [20] is the older cousin of James and Lindsey. She attends the same university James goes to and she is studying to be a heart surgeon. She got an academic scholarship, and parties rarely in order to maintain it. she loves reading and is head over heels in love with science. she is currently single and isn't interested in settling down yet.

Dylan Sherlock West {20} is Delaney's long time best friend. He is at the same school as Delaney and Clare, on scholarship because he grew up in foster care. He is an only child, and has no family of any sort except for Delaney and her family.

Maisy Callan Jefferson (13) was one of Dylan's foster siblings, about five years ago. Eight year old Maisy hated having Dylan around the house. She used to be very spoiled and rude, so when he got in the slightest bit of trouble, her family sent him away. Now, she regrets it, and wishes she could make amends. Maisy is bold, popular, and funny.
