Making sure I have this right...Schuyler is a more unique spelling of Skylar/Skyler, right?

I'm really loving it for a girl, and thinking of adding it to my list. Opinions on middle/first names for Schuyler?

And if you have read my name lists on my profile, you obviously know that I'm into names that are pretty unique and untraditional for the most part.
Also, are there any names on my profile that you think would fit well with Schuyler? (:

Schuyler is the Danish spelling of Skylar/Skyler. I think it's cute and actually prefer this spelling to the others. Also it goes very nicely with most of your other names!

I think Schuyler fits more on a boy and Skylar/Skyler is more for a girl (just my opinion). I thought I invented this spelling when I was naming a dog :P But then I found it in a name book and exclaimed to my self (outloud) THEY STOLE MY SPELLING!!!! Ahem.

I LOVE Schuyler Jade! (Not on your profile, but I still love it :P)

Schuyler Jordyn is cute too, but I think it should be paired with something a bit more feminine :)

For names from your profile:
Schuyler Lilly
Schuyler Laylah

I have Schuyler on my list and have had it for a little while now, and I can't find a perfect middle name yet :/

But actually, Schuyler is the original spelling. People started using Skyler/Skylar is a phonetic version, to make it more "trendy" and "modern" and all when they started using it on a girl instead of a boy. I do love Schuyler more on a girl, personally. But the phonetic version feels hippy and eh haha! (no offense to those who love it :) ). It's like spelling Cheyenne by ShyAnn, Aine by Anya (this one I don't mind at all, actually. Both nice spellings <3), etc.

Here's some middle name suggestions!

Schuyler Ava
Schuyler Amelie
Schuyler Paige
Schuyler Patience
Schuyler Ariana
Scuyler Teagan
Schuyler Celeste
Scuyler Faith
Schuyler Willow
Schuyler Alessia
Schuyler Isabel
Schuyler Cadence
Schuyler Yasmine
Schuyler Esther
Schuyler Joanna
Schuyler Naomi
Schuyler Melanie
Schuyler Edith
Schuyler Valerie
Schuyler Naimhe

Hope this helps!

I actually had that same problem before! I was like..."how does everyone on here know about a name like that and what's to like about it?" But then I did some research and found out what it really was and I'm a huge fan of unique spellings. It's pretty unique where I'm from.
