Which gender do you prefer it on and why?
Combo suggestions for the name are also welcome whether you use it as a first or middle name if you can think of any.
Thanks. ☺

I prefer it on a boy, but don't hate it on a girl! (Peyton Sawyer made it usable to me)

I prefer it on a boy, but I can see it working well on a girl. I would pair Sawyer with something strong and classic...
Sawyer David, Sawyer James, Sawyer Dean

Sawyer is nice, not one of my favorite names but it's grown on me since a family friend had a little boy named Sawyer. I prefer the name Sawyer on a boy, partly because of associations and partly because it just sounds like a boy name to me, I don't really like it on a girl.

Sawyer is all boy to me too. Sorry. I can bare with it as a middle name but to me giving your daughter the name Sawyer is like naming her John.

Sawyer for boy. This name reminds me a book The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

I prefer Sawyer as a boys name. Although, I do know two little girls named Sawyer so I think it could work either way!

Definitely a boy's name for me. The meaning seems masculine, surnames always seem masculine to me, and the most common namesake people probably think of is Tom Sawyer.
As a first name.
Sawyer Jude
Sawyer Nolan
Sawyer Daniel
Sawyer Thomas
Sawyer Harrison
Sawyer Owen
As a middle name
Brendan Sawyer
Theo Sawyer
Sebastian Sawyer
Winston Sawyer
Zachary Sawyer

I named a boy Sawyer in Sims...I guess it's more of a boy's name to me.
