And on middle names, these are the only two that seem to... fit, I guess. I was thinking about other favorites I have and if they'd sound good with Saoirse, but none of them seemed quite right. I do like the two above, but I'm not sure how much yet. Plus, I kinda prefer Katherine as a first name lol! Katherine Saoirse would be okay also, but yeah. Trying to find Saoirse a middle name lol!
I'm open to all critiques, opinions, absolutely anything (hopefully somewhat helpful ) I just need help sorting thoughts lol!

I love Saoirse Madeleine.
It's uber cute!
As for the prn, I'm used to saying it Seer-Shuh, so it would confuse me to pronounce it any other way!
However, the other prn is lovely.
Saoirse Katherine is a nice combo, but the flow of Madeleine with it looks and sounds perfect.
And I know how you love Katherine in your other combos.
Hope this helped my lovely. ♥

I'm in love myself :wubs:
Haha, it really did help! I need to stop saying Sare-sha! Not sure why I started saying it that way, LOL!
Thanks so much, Yazzie kins! <3 <3 <3 It added the needed confidence to the name Sometimes, I guess I just need someone to agree, lol!
Haha, I use Katherine way to much....
Thanks so much, lovie!
And thanks, Tara Ann! Haha, I'm glad you like it too! <3

Saoirse Madeleine is nice too. (Madeline is my sister's name so I'm a little biased to this spelling)
However. I'm not that big a fan of Saoirse unless you live in Ireland/Northern Ireland. Particularly since it is a gaelic name with the traditional gaelic spelling. In the U.S, and in the english language, the name makes no sense phonetically. When she will be learning how to read and write and sound things out...her name just wont make sense. Though I'm also not a fan of americanized spellings...I just feel that using traditional gaelic spellings is a bit confusing. I often times have trouble pronouncing names correctly even when I have seen them a dozen times I still look at it and think "SAY OR SE"?

Haha! But sometimes I get unsure with names, LOL! And I have this HUGE fear that I'll look at a name and think it looks beautiful and then use it, then end up with a baby that's made fun of horridly! I've had nightmares!!!
Lol, I do think Katherine goes well. But I use it everywhere! Madeleine will be a nice change from Katherine
Haha, but aren't they said slightly different or something? Madeline being Mad-uh-line, and Madeleine being Mad-uh-leen? Someone told me that, at least And I just prefer the sound of Mad-uh-leen! Am I getting confused on how to say names???
I think I did a poll once on different spellings, or someone did. And we came up with things like Seersha, Seirsha, etc. And I kinda do like Seirsha, but I also dislike using Americanized spellings It would probably end up confusing for spelling, and I'd have to correct people a lot.. But I don't think I mind at the moment, and I'll have to hope she doesn't either

Other way 'round Hads!
Madeleine
{Mad-eh-line}
Madeline
{Mad-eh-lyn}
I think Saoirse Madeleine sounds better!
Though I love Madeline.

I shall take your word for this! No idea who told me Madeleine was mad-uh-leen though
I do think that mad-uh-line does sound really nice with Saoirse though! Maybe I should spell it all out how it sounds! Then I'll end up with a baby named:
Seeershah Maduhlien!
Gorgeous, if I do say so myself!
Haha, Jk! But yes, I think I'm really a confused child <3

Saoirse can be pronounced either way. I'm honestly not sure why some say SAYR-sha and others SEER-sha. Maybe it's an accent thing.
Madeleine is mad-ah-LEN in the original French, but usually pronounced MAD-ah-lin or MAD-ah-line.
I really love Saoirse Madeleine

The film about the little orphan girl?
You'll hear how they pronounce it.
The French woman, Helene, prn it 'Mad-len'.
But the other girls prn it 'Mad-eh-line'.
Not that this helps! ♥

Hahaha, I'll have to go watch that.... but it probably would help very well if I heard the name being said! Just like if I looked at Deana, my first guess would be dee-ann-ah, yet if you hear it said aloud than you'd know it might be said as Deeena instead Lol, well that happened to me at least... <3
Haha, so everyone pronounces it correct except the french woman? Silly woman!
