I'm really liking the names
Trinity
Felicity
Destiny
Amity
Temperance
Verity

Virtue names obviously.

What are your opinions of them?

They may all be "virtue" names but they have very different feels to me.

Trinity
Felicity
Destiny
Amity
Temperance
Verity

I LOVE Verity & Temperance. They are unusual yet not weird and still have a classic feel to them.

Amity is okay but I always think of Amityville Horror :\ This just doesnt feel like a name to me.

I dislike Destiny very much. It has a cheap/trashy feel to it. Very stripper-y.

Felicity, I think of that show, Felicity, from the 90s. It has a very dated feel.

While Trinity has more a syfy feel to it cause of The Matrix. Its not exactly a virtue...It just seems like something that a young mom would pick...probably cause I know two Teen moms who named their daughters this.

Verity is quickly becoming a name I am in love with. I just wonder if my daughter would resent the name? Or feel like a werido with the name. But I guess with all names the people in her generation are going to have it's not that different.

There, I agree completely.

Verity and Temperance are two guilty pleasures for me, especially Temperance.
One that's similar that I love and hope to use is Vera. :)

I have aslo found a new love for virtue names for some odd reason, Temperance is by far my favorite virtue name but it seems as if I cant get anyone to agree with me, Felicity is another of my guilty pleasures. Also I know its not a virtue name but I have fell in love with Wren.

Trinity - I really like this name; it reminds me of the Matrix (awesome movie!)
Felicity - One of my guilty pleasures :)
Destiny - Too trendy for me
Amity - It's okay
Temperance - I don't really like it, though the nickname Tempie is cute
Verity - I sort of like it

I have to agree with everything above <3

I don't mind some virtue names, to be honest. But a lot of them seem... unfair to me. You know, names like Chastity. Some are okay, I don't mind the usual ones you hear, like Faith and Hope.

I will admit I definitely do like some word names, ie Chase. I adore Chase :) But a lot of them... just aren't my thing I guess. The ones I like really stand out to me in some way, like Willow and Fern both have real meaning to me in a way. And Chase, it has meaning behind it to me too <3 So any word name that doesn't have meaning to me I guess I just don't care for ;)

If you have a meaning behind each of the names, I'd probably be more willing to agree and say "aww, that's so sweet! You should definitely use it!". But otherwise... a name with so much meaning in it without the person considering the meaning kinda just doesn't click to me ;)

I hope that makes sense!

I mostly agree with Katie as well.

I love Verity. It feels spunky and fresh.

Trinity and Destiny have a dated feel and do seem rather cheesy/tacky.

Felicity makes me think of the show. I like it much better than the two above though.

Amity and Temperance are just ok for me. I do think of Amityville Horror. Temperance makes me think of the show Bones. I feel Temperance might be a little impractical.

As some others have already said, I second everything that Katie said. I couldn't have said it better myself! :)

I pretty much agree with the things most people have said. However, I absolutely adore the name Amity. It means friendship, which isn't a meaning that the kid will probably resent (like Chastity) and it could easily have the nn Amy if you want something more "normal" sounding. An added bonus for me is that it's the name of the town my grandpa was born and raised in and I think it would be a nice way of honoring him, since I can't pass down his actual name (Paul Kenton - Paul was used in my brother's name, Kenton in his son's, and I hate the names Paula and most Ken- names for girls).

That being said, I like Verity, Felicity, and Temperance, though Temperance seems really clunky. I see Destiny as both trashy and dated, and Trinity is waaaay too trendy. My grandma teaches a kindergarten class and there are THREE Trinitys - no exaggeration!
