My fiancé, James, and I are going to start TTC once Sutton turns one, which is in less than two weeks. I have been trying to find new names and updating my lists. If when end up having a boy, he will most likely be called Ezra James(on).
It's girl names that are hard for us! James seems to think that since our daughter (Sutton) has a unisex name, we have to give any future girls unisex names too, so no one is left out.

What do you think? Should we go for another unisex name if we have another girl, just because our first daughter has a unisex name?

No, it's best not to start an obvious theme because you don't know how many kids you'll have in the future and you might run out of unisex names you love and end up using one you don't love just to continue the theme.  You could do double t's in the name somewhere, like Scarlett or Charlotte.  But don't start a theme that you will feel obligated to keep with future children.  I prefer Ezra Jameson over Ezra James.  While James honors your fiance, James is overused.  Jameson is so handsome and sounds good with Ezra.  Jameson is the perfect way to honor James!  Good luck!!  Sending baby dust (or whatever it's called lol) your way.  And also, I love your daughter's name, so spunky.  :)

I think it would be adorable for another daughter to have a unisex name. Overall, I think you should just go with what you love. If that's a unisex theme, go for it!

And, since I have the day off school, here are some suggestions :P

Aw, Ezra is cute <3 I'd go for what you love though :) I think Sutton can match with a lot of different names! Like in that Lying Games book Sutton and Emma were sisters.. I thought it matched fine.

If he really feels a unisex name is what would match, what about a girly name with a unisex nick name? Like these...

Alex - Alexandra, Alexa, Alexia, Alexis

Andy - Andrea, Andra, Alexandra, Adriana

Rory - Aurora, Lorelei

Cam - Camille, Camilla, Cambrie

Charlie - Charlotte, Charlize, Charlene

Chris - Christina

Cory - Cordelia, Cora, Coraline

Jessie - Jessamine, Jessica, Jessa

Jo - Joanna, Johanna, Josephine, Jolie, Jody

Mattie / Maddie - Matilda, Madeleine, Madelyn

Nick / Nicky - Nicola, Nicole, Nicolette

Romy - Rosemary

Georgie - Georgia, Georgina, Georgiana

Teddy - Theodora

Theres a few ideas, if you like those. I'd really just go for one that you both really love though. I'm personally not a fan of themes just because of that. Unless the theme happens to include your absolute favorite names lol

I think if you find another unisex name you love as much as Suttone (which is abosolutely adorable!) then use it. But I woudn't limit yourself to unisex names. Use what you love, don't worry about a theme.

Your daughter's name is so cute!!! I say go with what you love. I also like the suggestion of doing another double t or maybe just another name with a double letter in it. Here are some other unisex names and other double letter names that I think would go well with Sutton.

Sutton and Reese (unisex and has a double letter!)

Sutton and Britton

Sutton and Hayden

Sutton and Hannah

Sutton and Finley

Sutton and Taylor

Sutton and Mackenzie

Sutton and Madison

Sutton and Emerson

Sutton and Addison (unisex and has a double letter!)

Sutton and Ashton

Sutton and Morgan

Sutton and Avery

Sutton and Payton

Sutton and Makenna

Sutton and Willow
