I saw the name Lux on a website a few days ago. My friend and I were discussing it. I think Lux is an adorable and unique nn for Lucille. But my friend was adamant Lux is a boys name.  What do you think?

I feel it's a unisex name. I thought about it, and I could see it on both a boy and a girl.

When I read the poll, neither gender jumped to mind.  I think it could work as a nickname for a boy or girl - Lucille, or Lucien maybe?

Sorry, I see this one as all girl to me. I associate it as a nickname for Lucille, Alexandra/ia, Lucy, or just Lux on its own. <3

It makes me think of Kirsten Dunst in The Virgin Suicides.

I saw the same movie HemiLB mentioned.. theres a female Lux, so I guess I assumed it was female. I don't see it suiting a boy well personally, but thats just me :) (and thats coming from the girl who prefers Ashley on a boy lol).

I have only heard the name a few times. I thought it was a girl's name.

I've watched the show Life Unexpected, so I automatically think girl. Wouldn't be bad on a boy, though.
