I have the bare bones of the plot figured out for my story, but I'm a little stuck as to names for the characters in said story. These people have the types of personalities that could fit really well with just about any name, hence my slight dilemma. Perhaps you could help me so that I can maintain my sanity

Alrightie, the character descriptions:

Girl 1: Brunette with brilliant green eyes, on the short side- around 5'3" or so, cute, funny, sporty, very intelligent and intuitive, does well in school, however she's had a rough past that still manages to haunt her; she isn't one to enjoy talking about it either. Through it all, her best friend has been there, and she is like a sister to her. (I'm thinking maybe Kirsten for this girl? I'm so indecisive though.)

Girl 2: The best friend that is like a sister to girl one. She's very short(barely 5 foot) and cute, with small, delicate features. Very short, pixie-like dark brown hair that looks almost black, rootbeer brown eyes. Helps girl one through everything; forever being her best friend no matter what happens. Sarcastic, witty, intelligent, speaks her mind- and it isn't always politely, everything you could possibly want in a best friend. (I was thinking maybe Isabelle, but it's pretty common so...?)

Boy 1: Very cute, sexy, charming, muscular and toned- but not disgustingly so, shaggy brown hair, killer smile and amazing bright blue eyes. A very eclectic kind of guy- very athletic, very musically inclined, very intelligent, involved with and very devoted to school, girls are crazy about him but he isn't one to bounce around from girlfriend to girlfriend, he's a very committed and driven individual. The fact that he isn't a womanizer shocks most because of how attractive he is; he isn't conceited in the least either. (I was thinking maybe Seth? I'm a bit biased though, because it is one of my absolute favorite names)


Also, your opinions on potential names & personalities for girl one's parents would be helpful. Should any of the characters have siblings? I'm so indecisive about everything that I'm craving opinions of others bigtime! Thank you SO MUCH for any and all help! I appreciate it immensely!

How old are your characters? The past that haunts girl 1, does it stem from her parents? If so, that may influence the personalities I would suggest for her parents.

Girl 1, girl 2, and boy 1 are all 17 years old.

No, girl 1's parents aren't the reason for her not-so-pleasant past. None of the awful experiences stemmed from either of them. They've done nothing but be the most amazingly wonderful support system that she ever could have hoped for. They're great people and they are a very close, tight-knit family.

Boy One: Dan (Its short and sweet... really clear cut like he is!) Eli, Marc, Simon, Theodore nn Theo or Teddy,
Girl One's Parents: Alessandra, Diana, Vittoria, Penelope (Penny?)
Joesph, David, Charles, Gus, Henry

Yeah, I think girl one should have a couple siblings, enough for her to not be the spoiled only child. Maybe two older brothers who are really protective?
Vincent nn Vinny, Frankie, Braden, Coby, Tobias nn Toby.
Girl two should be an only child, its why she speaks her mind so much: there is no one to interrupt her!
Boy one should have a younger sibling.
Brother?: Dane, Adam, Chris, Wes, Oliver nn Ollie, Patrick
Sister?: Maria, Emma, Ashby, Lola, Olive, Sloane

I agree with Mariel on siblings. Girl one should have a couple siblings, girl two an only child and the boy a sibling. Name suggestions:

Dad - The strong, silent type. He feels things deeply, but tends to keep those feelings to himself. He is intense and excels in his job, often working extra hours. He is the provider and protector of the family and proud of it. He is a true gentleman who would do anything for his family, especially his wife and daughter. He likes sports, the newspaper and tinkering with his car.

Mom - She is the glue of the family. She is a volunteer for local charities. She makes sure she is always in attendance for the activities her children are involved in. She shares her feelings easily and encourages her children and husband to talk about issues they may have. She likes her family to all sit down for dinner together and share about their day. She is a bit of a health nut, trying to sneak veggies in where she can to her family. She enjoys painting, jogging, animals and self-help books.
