One of my favorite character names from the movie was Eponine. The way they say it in the movie it almost sounds like Ebony. (Ep oh nee) or (Ep oh neen) but the last N being very soft.
Victor Hugo may have gotten the name Eponine from Saint Eponine.
Eponine may be a derviative of the name Epona which is Celtic goddess of horses. Or it may be the french derivative of the Gaulish Empona "Heroine" from the Italian Epponina. http://www.behindthe...ponine/comments

I've wanted to see Les Mis but Mike wasn't interested and he's usually the one I find myself in theaters with. Eventually haha <3

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd use it either. But it would make a pretty middle name. And I would LOVE to see it on someone else's kid.
Ben actually suggested seeing Les Mis. He is a big fan of musicals and one of his favorite movies is the Phantom of the Opera.

Anyway.
Eponine is pretty, I like it. If I were to use it, it would definitely be in the middle name spot, but yeah I can't say I'm entirely against using it. It's very different, but soft like you said and superr feminine. ♥
A name I heard from the movie that become my "Eponine" was Cosette. I had heard it before this movie though (from a Real Housewives season, of all places, lol), and I started saying it over and over again in my head, and it's really grown on me! I almost sort of love it now?

I was really attracted to name Eponine too. Something about it is really pretty without being overly feminine.

I'm just not into musicals where EVERY word is sung. :/ But the actors and acting were great and I liked Eponine as well.
I was sort of forced into going to see it because my cousin in Australia had just read the book and she wanted to watch it. We actually saw The Hobbit with them too, and I really loved that movie.
Plus I have a huge crush on Eddie Redmayne that stems from like 4 years ago. So I would have had to see it anyway.
And Happy Birthday!!!
