First, what do you think about the name Shepherd/Shepard? I'm currently loving the combo Shepherd Joel.

I hope to have more than 1 child, but I can't seem to find any names that give me the same feeling as Shepherd. Any ideas (for both genders)? Thanks!

Shepard is one of GP. I think Shepard Joel is handsome! I know a little boy named Shepard and he has a brother named Samuel. Granted, I don't think you'd want to make all your children have the same first letter. Their mother is uber religious which is why she chose Shepard, although there's plenty of biblical names available. I personally love the sibset.

I believe Jensen for a boy would be lovely and possibly Adelaide for a girl. Looking at your lists I think Asher would work too.

I love Shepherd. (I dislike the spelling Shepard because it is a common misspelling of Shepherd)

Shepherd and Jensen would be awesome for brothers, as Emily suggested. Also, Levi or Elliot.

I think Shepherd is okay, and I lean towards spelling it this way. Shepherd has grown on me ever since Jared Padalecki's new little boy with that name, though I wouldn't use it myself.

Looking at your list, I could see Shepherd and Zoe as siblings too. For brothers I liked Shepherd with Josiah and Oliver. It really just depends what you like.

I have a friend named Shep (just Shep), I think it would make a great nickname for Shephard.  He has a brother named Gus and a sister named Em (just Em).  I think maybe Shephard would go well with names that are low in popularity but not unheard of.  I think Shepard has a romancy feel about it so names like Imogen and Cordelia or Dominic and Miles would fit nicely.  Names with a word or nature feel like August and Sawyer or Winter and Violet.  And as Emily stated, it would go nicely with underused biblical themed names like Fisher and Abram or Delilah and Sarah.

Shepherd is okay, though if I used it it would be a middle name.

Shepherd Henry would be cute on a boy. Or Shepherd Harry.

Shepherd Amelia or Shepherd Autumn would be cute on a girl.

I'm not a fan of Shepherd, because it just makes me think of Shepherd's pie! But I imagine if you don't live in England that's not a problem, ha ha.

Looking at your lists, I could see it working well with Everett or Matilda as a sibset!

@thenamer007 Thanks for your suggestions. I'm not a fan of Shepherd on a girl but I do like Shepherd Henry, even though it constantly makes me think of the royals.

@Saffron I don't live in England, so I think I'll be okay! Haha. I love Shepherd and Matilda as well!
