It's funny, until recently I thought I would never have a GP list, I would either like a name or not, simple as that, but now I find I have one, albeit a small one

Girls:
Persephone

Athens- I'm not particularly a fan of place names, but for some reason this is growing on me. I think it came about because I love Greece but Greece would be a TERRIBLE name for a child, lol

Morning

Boys:
Cedar

Onyx- I use this mainly for Night World role plays for lamia vampires, bedcause they usually have nature names

Ocean

I know a little boy named Athens! That said, I think I prefer Athens for boys and Athena for girls. But still, I think it's nice. I love Greece, I actually lived there for eight months when I was seven! :) But I agree, terrible name for a child, hahaha. Go for Athens!

Persephone is nice enough. Never been my style but I'd love to meet somebody else's kid with the name.

Morning is lovely! So many good connotations. I think of sunrises and fresh starts, new beginnings and birds chirping! :D

Cedar is super cool and strong sounding, I love it! I think it is legitimately usuable in the real world :)

I love Ocean as well, though not quite as real-world fit...

Onyx isn't my personal taste, but I love the way it looks. Sleek and cool

Girls:
Persephone- I like how this name sounds. I would never use it but I think it would be a cool name to have.
Athens- I would use Athena instead but I don't like Athena either.
Morning- Every time I hear this name I think of mourning which is basically the opposite of what the name is meant to convey.

Boys:
Cedar- Never thought of this one. I kinda like it!
Onyx- I agree it looks cool but I'm not a fan.
Ocean- I recently saw this name at number 50 on the girl list for Canada's top 100 baby names in 2013 which I though was really surprising. I think it could work equally as well on either gender but its not my style.

I like Persephone and Cedar best from your list.

Persephone - I really like this! It's similar to one of my favourite names Penelope but a little more out there. I think it's pretty cute and would be nice on someone else's child.

Athens- Athens strikes me as more of a boys name. Athena is similar and Greek. I love Greek names, they're so pretty   Overall Athens isn't too bad just not my personal style
:)

Morning - Morning is alright. It does make me think mourning however.

Cedar - I quite like it! It's would be cool to hear this, I think it's usable.

Onyx- This isn't really my style but it looks cool :)

Ocean - I could picture this on both genders. I like it

I never cared for Persephone, mainly from the story behind it.

Athens is lovely, though NMS. lol yeah Greece wouldn't make a great name ;) But Athens is really nice, nice imagery comes to mind.

I don't care for Morning either, but I've seen Evening around recently and thats grown on me as a GP.

I love Cedar, but I can't get over how it sounds like "see durr" when I say it out loud :( Might just be my accent though. I do still love it.

Onyx is cute! I never thought of it as a name before but I'm really liking it now... hmm!

Ocean I've seen as a name before, NMS though.

Hope I don't sound too negative. GL :)

Persephone - Adorable and useable, with some cute nn options such as Percy and Seph.
Athens - Eh, not really my style, but it would work
Morning - Nms at all, sorry

Cedar - Cute!!
Onyx - I don't think it is very usable
Ocean - I would see this more fit on a girl
