I like the name Aevia (letter a, letter v, uh {a-v-uh}).
Not sure if it really exists, and it's strange & unique. Would I scare my child for life if I named her that?

At first it looks like a creative spinoff of Ava, but that's just my opinion. Also I believe there is a company named Avia but am not sure. I don't think it's a 'scarring' name, but she'll probably get called Ava a lot of times. If Autumn can live with that, then I think it's fine - at leat the pronunciation seems clear enough, from that spelling.

It seems like an odd variation of Aviva or Ava.

I think she'll have a hard time learning to spell it and also she'll have to explain to people how to spell it everytime someone takes down her name. I would suggesting going with a more straight up spelling, Avia.

I think that this name is unique and pretty. It is not popular at all, which I'm sure your daughter will thank you for. I don't think this name will scare her off at all. It may be hard to spell and pronounce at first, but some common names are difficult to spell with so many variations. One thing about Aevia is this: You like the name. I think you should go for it, so that you do not regret it. I think it sounds nice!

No, I don't think that would scar her for life. It's rather pretty and could also be spelled Ayvia or Aveah.

Ooo... I like that! Aveah would be very pretty and easy to pronounce.

I agree with Kate's post earlier. This spelling is unusual but doable. It's mostly vowels though and may cause a lot of people to stumble over it. She'll likely groan the first day of school in every class and spend time teaching people how it's said. Not impossible though, especially if SHE likes it.
