I just watched Stardust. Has anyone seen it?

I like the name Yvaine. What do you think?

AND, I of course love thinking of baby names even though that is a VERY far in the future thing for me because I'm still young!

It's pretty, but not my style at all. I could never use it, but I think it has appeal.

I loved the movie. The name is pretty but not at all practical.

Okay, I've read the graphic novel, it's brilliant and one of my favorites! The movie was awful compared to the book. Yvaine is really pretty, but I would only use it for a middle name probably. It's a very medieval name, like Igraine/Ygrayne who is King Arthur's mother in the legends.

I agree with Hannah, Rebecca and Maggie. It's very sweet and original, just not really my kind of name. (:

Yvonne would be a good alternative. It's a little less harsh sounding. (unless you like that quality of it).

Or Evenne

Maybe even adding an A to make it Yvaina kinda like Elain becomes Elaina

Yvaina has a little more of a ring to it. Sure to be unique too.
