I'm actually from a town called Lexington, and as a name for a person, I've always thought of it as a boys name. However, I can hear it working on a girl as well, and you could use the nickname Lexie, which is super cute. All in all, I think it works for either gender.

While I tend to see Lexi as a female name, I think Lexington (maybe nick name Lex) has a masculine vibe to it. I can really see it on a boy actually! I'm sure if I met a female Lexington maybe I'd be able to picture it better but hey that can go for any name haha
