I've really been loving the name "Bear" for a boy. But only as a middle name. Anthony Kiedis (singer of Red Hot Chili Peppers) has a son named Everly Bear and I fell in love with the name for the middle name spot!

So far all I've come up with are; Emerson Bear and Maddox Bear.

And to be honest, I don't really like Emerson too much. I just like how it flows with the name. But I've always loved Maddox; and I did realize that "Bear" flows with first names that start with an E. But maybe that's just me. It really should have a longer first name to go with it.

Suggestions on first names for Bear are greatly appreciated! Please and thank you, loves! (:

I honestly love the name Bear as well! My little brother learned the poem "Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear", and he used to run around saying that. So I'd sing "Joshy washy was a bear". And now my entire family calls him Joshy Bear, J-Bear, or Beary. I've been giving him more nick names... Barrito Bear is of the moment, cause he loves those darned things haha! So I definitely think it makes an adorable boys name choice! He's fourteen now, and he still answers to it. And his friends call him JB, or J-Bear usually. Haha!

I think Emerson Bear sounds really handsome! Maddox Bear sounds nice, but sounds slightly too "woodsy" in my mind. I don't know what type of name Maddox is, to be honest. But it makes me think of hard core outdoors lol.

Here are some middle name suggestions!

~ Aleksander Bear*
~ Cassius Bear
~ Christopher Bear
~ Finian Bear
~ Joshua Bear (lol :))
~ Lionel Bear (a bit too animal sounding? :/)
~ Lawson Bear
~ Lucius Bear*
~ Aurelius Bear
~ Malachi Bear
~ Matthias/Matteo Bear*
~ Nathaniel Bear
~ Nikolai Bear*
~ Elias Bear*
~ Phineas Bear
~ Tobias Bear
~ Dayton Bear
~ Abraham Bear
~ Damian Bear
~ Gregory Bear
~ Remington Bear
~ Dominic Bear
~ Julian Bear
~ Leonardo Bear
~ Zachariah Bear
~ Alessandro Bear
~ Jermaine Bear
~ Avery Bear
~ Lucian Bear
~ Jonathan Bear
~ Garrison Bear
~ Solomon Bear
~ Anthony Bear

I think in general, all three syllable names flow well with Bear! I put an * on my personal favs!

Hope this helps!!!

I think that will do for now. (:

I'm always trying to keep my girls list and my boys list to the same amount. Lol, it just bothers me when they're uneven. (:

I can't get into Bear. Alicia Silverstone just named her kid Bear Blue.

I've always kind of liked the name, but right after I added it to my list, I found that out and it almost killed it for me. That name, to me, just seems like a bit much. In my opinion, I think names like Bear and Blue should go in the middle name spot. But that's just me.

I could maybe get behind Bear as a middle name when paired with like, a traditional, strong, first name... But yeah, paired with Blue it is too much.

Cassius Bear sounds the best to me! I could imagine a character in one of these fantasy books being named that.. :]
