Peyton Andrew Garcia [15] is one of Maria's children. He doesn't really understand what his mother does or really why she does it. He believes she'd make more money going into a private practice psychotherapy. He just doesn't understand her compassion. Lately, Peyton and his Mom fight a lot as her compassion for the children suffering from blindness has taken over most of her time. She's missed the last five of Peyton's baseball games, the last three of his sister's ballet recitals, the last two plays that his other sibling is in and one award ceremony that was for their father because she's been so busy helping out kids from her therapy center and Peyton's had enough of it. Last week he accused her of loving her patients more than she loves her family, stating that maybe he should blind himself and then his mother would give a damn about him. Needless to say, Peyton hasn't spoken to her since.

Hale Vivienne McCarthy (8) is Maria's niece via her blind sister. She has perfect vision and loves her mother dearly. Hale carries her stuffed animal, Ella, around with her everywhere. Her mother is growing concerned for her social welfare in the future, but for now, she allows it. Hale was named after her grandmother (Martha Hale Garcia).

Daphne Clover Summers {9} is Hale McCarthy's best friend. Daphne's mom is American and her dad is Irish. She is a dual citizen. Her middle name is a fun nod to her Irish heritage. Her family is very wealthy. Daphne has eleven siblings; nine boys and two girls (plus herself). She loves dance and playing her violin, and she is on track to attend Julliard.

Laila Shanleigh Summers [16] is Daphne's only sister. She has nine brothers, and daphne is her only sister. Growing up with a house full of boys has made her a more down to earth type of girl. She loves hiking, camping, and running. Even though she grew up with a lot of boys it didn't stop her from  the passion of her life: Gymnastics. She has competed nationally, and teaches her sister to cartwheel once in a while.

Graham Deacon Summers, Oliver Rafferty Summers & Raphael Finnegan Summers [6] are three of Laila and Daphne's brothers. The triad of them are rare identical triplets and they were naturally conceived. The triad as they're affectionately known by the family and those around them are thick as thieves. They cannot stay away for too long from one another. The issue being is in school where they're constantly sneaking away from classes to find each other since they're all in separate groups.

Edmund Sky Summers [4] is the younger brother of Laila, Daphne, Graham, Oliver, and Raphael. Ned is a happy go lucky child, he rarely cries or gets into trouble, and is always smiling.

Shay Amelia Howard (17) is the Summers' cousin via Mrs. Summers's sister. Shay's family was not as successful in terms of money or family bonds. Shay is distant and moody, always taking pictures somewhere and listening to music. Shay is in eleventh grade at the local public school. She is afraid that she isn't living up to her parents' and aunt's expectations.

Jaelyn Rose Howard {NB} is Shay's newborn daughter. Though Shay wasn't proud of getting pregnant and disappointing her family, she dearly loves Jaelyn. Shay isn't sure who the father is and no one is willing to help her care for the baby.

Marisa Jean Cage (17) was named godmother of Jaelyn and totally freaked out. She is a model, but she is a very, very good girl and couldn't believe that Shay had gotten pregnant. She has totally broken off their friendship, and Marisa's boyfriend thinks she did the right thing, though she sobs about it at night sometimes. Marisa lives modeling and playing piano.

Luke Garrison Bradley {17} is Marisa's boyfriend, also a model. He plays soccer, also, and is very good at it. Luke comes from a very upstanding family and he holds to their morals. He also encourages Marisa to do the same. He hopes he and Marisa can get married right after college.

Juliet Alyssa Bradley (6) is Luke's little sister. She is already learning the family trade-- modeling! The little girl has gotten many calls and loves being photographed. Jules is still just a little girl though. She loves reading Junie B. Jones and fingerpainting. Jules is a kindergartener at a prestigious private school.

Benjamin Carter "Ben" Bradley {7} is the older brother of Juliet Bradley and younger brother of Luke. He is the quietest and most shy of the Bradley kids, but is nonetheless a part of the family trade: modeling. Most of his shoots are darker and more serious, though, which he likes. He doesn't have to come out of his shell much.

Melissa Kate Bradley (15) is one of the Bradley models. She is shy and reserved, but she is confident in front of the camera. She loves her siblings dearly and loves taking pictures of her little Jules.

Perry Mitchell Carrell {15} is the boyfriend of Melissa. He is British and a singer. He met Melissa when he was shooting the cover for his new album.  Perry is a bit of a tough guy, but is soft on the inside. He likes dancing and making a fool out of himself. He is very loud and high energy.

Brenna Jane Carrell (11) is Perry's little sister. She is a painting prodigy and survived cancer as a four-year-old. Consequently, her parents are very protective of her and won't let her walk to school or play with her friends at the park by themselves. This is driving a wedge in their relationship. Brenna is a generally happy girl, though, and loves her art. She started sketching while she was in the hospital as a toddler because she had nothing else to do.

Derek Emmett Gregg {12} is the popular boy at school who has taking quite a liking to the not-so-popular Brenna Jane. Other people call him a loser for it, but he could care less. He sees her smiling and painting on the swings at the park and he admires her talent. His father is Brenna's dad's boss, and is actually very mean.

Rosemary Hanna Gregg (8) is Derek's little sister. She is a rich, bossy, mean Daddy's girl. She has heard that Derek likes a nerd and even at her young age she thinks it's not cool. Rosie is popular in her third grade class and she has a lot of friends. She is confident and loves to sing.

Chase Gentry Sloane {9} is the "boyfriend" of Rosemary. He is the popular boy in Rosemary's class at school, Rosemary is the popular girl, and they "date" because they can. He always acts "too-cool" and often bullies other kids. Chase tells all his many guy friends that he's dating Rosemary because "she begged him to." He wants everyone to think he is all that.

Marlee Caroline Sloane (14) is Chase's older sister. She is also the popular girl at school and has dated many older guys. Her parents are distant from her and don't mind what she does at all. Marlee wants to be accepted so she runs with gangs and drinks. She knows it's wrong and she's trying to fix it so she can give Chase the love he won't get from their parents.
