Okay, I found a story I've been working on since I was eleven, and I really like what I had going on. Of course I need to make it more realistic, hehehe. . .

But this story is written in second person. The character telling the story [right now I have as Kate/Katie, though I may need to change cause I don't want my fave names in my stories :P ] Anwho, she tells the story of this little boy, whom I originally had him called Thomas. Katie and him met when they were four and she moved into his neighborhood and have been pretty much best friends since. But he never would admit to how his parents abused him [really awfully]. He thinks Katie doesn't notice, but Katie is just to shy to bring it up (though her character has always been tough, strong, outgoing, etc).

Thomas's real name isn't Thomas, Katie had given him a nickname, or as she had put it when she was little "A real name, since your's isn't". His real name is gunna be something stupid, that druggie parents gave their accident child. Something like Paynen Diaz (pain in the @$$) or Yurso Gay (Yurso= fn Gay =mn).

So the parents made his name a joke, a mean one. But Katie decides a "real name". So the name has to be something that a little girl (around four-seven) gives her friend for a nickname. Everyone calls him by this name.

This is what he looks like when she met him

And him older (sorry it's so small!)

I also want the name to fit him throughout his entire growing up :)
~ As the little red head she met him as
(quiet, talked like an adult, awkward)
~ As the grade school kid
(horrible attitude at everyone, lude, kinda mean)
~ As the highschooler
(A more sweet, overly protective, secretive, but more caring boy)

And he's a complete sucker for Katie. He is absolutely in love with her, though she doesn't notice his doting over her. She's more interested in the sports teams, school, etc.

Thanks so much! ~Haddie

When I looked at both pictures the name Thomas came to mind right away even before I looked at the choices!

Hehe, that's what I was thinking at first, but I wasn't sure if I wanted that name to be in there. Especially since it's my nephew's name... D: Thomas seems to work so well! But I still have that.. eh about using a family members name :P

Again, I started it when I was like eleven, so Thomas (my nephew) didn't exist. But now that he does... D:

What about Jonah? It would be a name a little kid would know from sunday school. And I think he looks like a Jonah.

I agree with above comments. I saw Thomas before I saw the list of names. Thomas for sure.

The only problem with Thomas is that it's my nephews name :P Wouldn't it be weird to write a story with my nephews name in it?

I think I really like Jonah right now, actually :D Cause Katie is the type of girl who grew up in sunday school and stuff, so using a biblical name would be logical on her behalf! Thanks so much for the suggestion, Katie!

That's my Boogie Man :P He has lost a bit of weight since then. He turns 7 years old on Tuesday!!! He can sit on his butt, not his hind legs for about 20 min (I need to clock him next time). Food is pretty much his life but he's really not allowed scraps anymore. Sally's boyfriend always feeds him when he comes over though because he will bite strangers but if you feed him he is your friend for life. :D

Awwww!!! So cute! Hehehe, happy seventh birthday to the Boogie Man! (adorable name, hehehe :P ) But that's a pretty long time for a puppy! Must be funny to watch :D Aww, was he to fat a puppy? Tehehe, well food always shows a stranger is friendly! XD

I've always wanted a puppy, but I have to wait till I got my own house to get one :L Ah well, I want to get a chocolate lab or a german shepard and name him/her Ishcabibles (its a word I learned from my grandparents from one of their foreign languages lol, pronounced Ish-kah-bib-les <3 )
