Hey All!

Soo... thanks to horrible writers block that doesn't let me finish anything... I've started a new story that desperately needs names. It's about four boys who play hockey together in college, and more importantly, on the girls that they fall for.

The four boys:

1. The Heartbreaker: The player on the team. Always has a different girlfriend, always breaks their hearts. Until this season, of course. He tends to start some drama between his teammates, but he doesn't really care. Has a room in the hockey house. Criminal justice major. Senior

2. The Nice Guy: The team goalie. Very shy around pretty much everyone, until he's on the ice. Awkward around girls, a little goofy, he's a silent leader on the team and tends to be the peace-keeper. Lives in hockey house. Business major. Junior

3. The Poor Kid: At school on a scholarship. He's on defense and has a bit of a temper, but he has to actually study because if his grades drop he's out and has to go back to his semi-abusive father. His worst fear is going back home, working in construction all his life, and marrying his high school sweetheart. Lives in hockey house. Criminal Justice major. Junior

4. The Star Player: He’s the star of the team, leading scorer, Captain, heartthrob. He came to school with a girlfriend, but that didn't last long. They're very on-again-off-again. He works really hard, but also has a lot of natural talent that he takes for granted. Comes from money. Has a "dirty little secret". Lives part time in the hockey house, the other time he’s with his on/off girlfriend. Sports Management major. Senior

The girls

1. The Party Girl: In many ways, she’s the female version of the Heartbreaker. She loves to party, but is really a sweet girl. Lives in a quad. Education Major. Junior

2. The Little Sister: the younger sister of the Star Player, she’s a Freshman at the school. Comes from money, but isn’t snobby. A little spoiled, but not in the typical way. Really quirky. Art history major. Freshman

3. The Shy Girl: She grew up in the same town as the star player, his sister, and the teen-mom, the last of whom was and remains one of her closest friends. Freshman year, she roomed with the party girl, who is also her friend. She’s painfully shy, especially around boys. She’s a big daydreamer and almost always has a book with her. Lives in a single and is an RA for a freshman dorm. English Education major. Junior

4. The Teen-Mom: dated the star player throughout school, but now it’s complicated. Unlike her on/off boyfriend, she does not come from money. She was friends with the shy girl when they were younger, and they remain friends now. She lives at home, but her parents are less than welcoming to her and her daughter. Her mother refuses to help with the baby, and her father hates the Star Player. She still manages to make it to all his games, despite her complicated feelings towards him. Nursing major. Sophmore

4. Teen-Mom: Collette, Brooke, Zoe

Oh and the baby's name is Sadie, by the way.

Hey guys! Thanks so much to all of you.

So I have tentatively decided on these names for the guys

Heartbreaker: Tyler
Nice Guy: Nathan
Poor Kid: Nicholas nn Nick
Star Player: Casey James nn CJ (I let my best friend name him)

As far as the girls go, all four are sort of based on friends of mine (and me), so I guess that's why I'm having trouble coming up with names. Also, I agreed for some reason to let my best friend help me with the names, but I guess in the end it's my decision.

The Party Girl and The Shy Girl are based on me and my freshman roommate. Our names are Dani and Hannah, but we call each other Han and Dan. I want to do nicknames like that for Party Girl and Shy Girl, so here's what I have so far.
Bailey and Faith "Bay" and "Fay"
Georgia and Erin "G" and "E"
Katherine and Natalie "Kat" and "Nat"
Lorelai and Zoe "Lo" and "Zo"
Savannah and Lavender "Sav" and "Lav"

Any other ideas? I don't want the actual names to rhyme or anything, just the nickname possibilities, like Dani and Hannah
