I've never really thought about it, but my sister has a pretty unique name. She's the only person I know named Lyndie and my neice spells her name Meaghan (megan) but everyone calls her meg becuase they can't remember how to spell her ful name. I have a nephew named Oisin (osheen) and I've never thought of how unique Lyndie and Oisin are and the spelling of Meaghan. hmm...

Well I love Meghan! That spelling is beautiful IMO.
Lyndie is unique, but a bit nicknamey for me.

It is a little nicknamey, but I guess since I've heard it my entire life I'm used to it, but I really like it. Oisin (osheen) is very uncommon. Not sure how I feel about it, but I love the way Meaghan spells her name.

I have a friend named Megan, spelt this way, so I tend to prefer this spelling. Meghan is okay, but Meaghan is too much in my opinion

Pretty much what Rose said, I agree with. I like the spelling Megan, no frills or anything.
Meaghan seems like I would say it Me-A-gan. Don't like the extra syllable in there.
Lyndie seems more like a nickname for Linda, which I'm not fond of.
Oisin is okay.
