We've not settled on a middle yet, but we've discussed a few options.. we did decide we'd wait until we saw Archers face before setting one in stone :)

Archer Cohen
Archer Jaden Bear
Archer John

those two are our top contenders. Mike likes Cohen more, but I really feel it important to put Bear in there to honor my brother. Im going to ask about Archer Cohen Bear so we can both get our favorites in there. Jaden was really only thrown in the other combo as Jade's his grandmothers name and if I got to honor someone i guess it was only fair to honor someone for him too? John was my little brothers fave name, so its an option. I dont love the names subtley in honoring but idk. Mike loves John though.

im still mildly searching other options though. Cant lie, im feeling rather discouraged about it all... Most options just dont feel right and im having a hard time giving up the idea of using Bear even though Mikes not loving it. It has so much meaning to me though....

sorry its long lol. im opened to opinions or suggestions! would love any ideas too other then what we have. Maybe we need fresh ideas?

I like all of your choices :) Archer John is a really handsome, solid combo, though, so that's my favorite <3 Maybe Mike would like Teddy instead of Bear? Although you don't like subtly honoring names. You could even stretch it to Theodore if you wanted. But really you can't go wrong with any of the combos you have. :)

Thanks Addy, Madi, and Hannah :)

Archer John is very solid. It kinda gets to me that I know half a million John's, and its such a loose honoring... but it'd be a small way of getting what I want. I don't think he'd go for Teddy, nor would it feel honoring anymore being thats such a vague honoring but its a nice idea <3 I adore the name Theodore tbh, I'd totally go for Archer Theodore but Mike doesn't like Theodore at all. He likes Theo though.. hmm.

Ahh I like Archer Noah Caden a lot!! Mike said no to Noah last I asked though -_- Sad because he raved about how much he loved it the other day, then when I asked "What about Archer Noah?" he's like "Nah. I'd not use Noah in real life." Silly boy.

I'm honestly leaning towards Archer Cohen Bear, can't lie. I feel like it'd be darling.. and we'd both get our favorites in there <3 But we'll have to see what Mike says. Ah! I SO hope he'll be willing to compromise there <3 He's not big on compromise so its tough <3

Sorry revive an old thread, but Cohen is off-limits IMO. It's a Jewish surname meaning "priest". It's the last name of many Rabbis. It's a holy name, similar to Mohammad for Muslims. Orthodox Jews consider non-Jews using the name Cohen sacriligeous.

Archer Cohen Bear is ADORABLE and works brilliantly for any age!! I also love the fact that it sounds a lot like Arthur Conan Doyle, the Author who wrote about Sherlock Holmes!! :)
