What do you think of the girl name Skyla? Is it gorgeous? Or completely hideous? Comments appreciated. Thanks. :)

I kindof like it but I have this thing with names that end with A that have alternatives that end in R (I know I'm a froot loop)

Like, Skyla to me sounds like a mispronounciation of Skyler

or names like Kyla. This sounds like someone is saying Kayla in a really thick accent.

I know, I'm just weird. :) :P

Essentually though.

It's pretty :P Though I prefer just Sky/Skye

I kinda like it. Have you ever heard of Delia's? It's a clothing store for teen girls and every item of clothing has a name, like this dress:

Posted Image

is called "Alyssa shirtdress". :)

Anyways, I love the store. It's one of my favorites. They also have a new catalogue about every three weeks that I subscribe too and every time I get a new one I grab a pen to see what names they have in there. I have seen some really pretty names that I have never heard of until I get the catalogue.

Anyway, Skyla was in the latest one and I was just wondering what everyone thinks of it.

I kina like it. I like the -yla sound. Like Vyla, Lyla, Kyla, etc. I think Skyla is pretty. :P

I've heard of Delia's. I never shop there, though.

Kinda reminds me of Aeropostale. All their jean styles have different girls names:

Bayla--skinny legs
Hailey--skinny flare
Chelsea--boot cut

Abercrombie and Fitch also names their clothing :P as does Sas and Bide, I'm pretty sure Cashe does (both of those stores are EXTREMELY expensive! It's dumb! Miley Cyrus bought her dress for that music vidio at Sas and Bide, 600 dollers! :) ) But, it seems to be a thing to name clothing, and I also think its cute :P

Anyways, I don't care for Skyla. I like Skyler/Skylar, but it sounds wrong to me. Like using Tayla instead of Taylor. I dunno, it just seems lke the name is just being said funny.

Hope my opinion helps :P ~Hay Tay

Skyla almost sounds unfinished to me. Like someone started to say Skylar and got cut off. Same with Tayla. I prefer just Skye. and as a middle name, most definitely.
