I probably would never really name my son this because my husband doesn't really like it. But I'm wondering what you guys think of it? Is it to old? Can it be cool? Or just weird? If others like it I might try to get my husband to like it more for a later child. Opinions needed. Thanks.

I'm not sure about Orson. It sounds a bit harsh to me. Maybe something with the same or sound like Orin 
My son is Orin and we call him Ori. He was going to be Corbin with the nn Ori but we liked the meaning of Orin.

I kinda like it 
I think it's very masculine sounding!
I would never use it personally, cause I guess I can see how it might seem a bit like an old man name. But it could also have a very young feel to it!

Hmm...
This is what comes to mind when I hear the name Orson...
Orson = son of Oar?
Could see him being called a H***'s son.
Orson Wells...but not necessarily a bad thing.
The OR sound just doesnt do anything for me, not really a fan of this name.
