Which Pronunciation?

This is similar to "This or That?" or "Would You Rather?"

First poster posts a name with two (or more different pronunciations. Next poster chooses which they like best and posts another name. Names can be either gender.

Carys: Care-iss (like Paris) or Cuh-riss?

(I would say the second one, but apparently a lot of people say the first.)

Hel-ay-na, but Hel-ee-na is pretty too.

 

Anastasia: Anna-STAY-zha or Ahna-STAH-zha? (I usually say the first one. Sounds more natural with my accent.  The latter is the traditional Greek and Russian pronunciation)

I would say bri-anne-uh but depending on how the bri part is said..
