Naming the people in my stories has always been difficult for me. I usually spend months re-reading and changing their names over and over. I just never seem to be able to find the right fit. So here I am...
I'm hoping you can help.
Character 1: She is the main character. She is in her early 20s, has brown hair just past her shoulders and blue eyes. She dresses like Selena Gomez but does not wear dresses. Ever. She occasionally wears glasses and is fairly tall. No brothers or sisters. Her manipulative, lying, generally mean father died when she was 9 and her mother has since re-married, she believes her step-father is more of a father than her real father ever was, she thinks of him as her real father. She is quite intelligent and is easily bored, is fiercely loyal to those close to her and she has trouble thinking of what to say in situations with people she doesn't know very well, she's a bit awkward. She's stubborn as anything, has a rather sharp tongue and sometimes unintentionally hurts people with her words. I want Paige in her name somewhere, whether it's the 1st, middle or last I don't know.
C2 - This is C1's best friend. Same age as C1, she has blonde hair, quite long and green eyes. She is fun, vibrant, life of the party. She dresses like Taylor Swift, loves her friends more than anything and has the sharpest wit. She's everything C1 wants to be. She has an older brother, he doesn't have a name either.
C3 - This is C1's boyfriend. Year older than C1, is either the same height of about 1/2 an inch taller than C1, has short brown hair, brown eyes. He dresses like Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother. He is cheeky, loves to push the boundaries. He lives for fun. Like the first two characters, nothing is more important than his friends, family and his girl. He has an older brother by a few years, possibly named Matthew and a 10 year old brother, possibly named Hunter. He was born in England but moved out to Australia when he was 6 after his father died because his mother's family all lived in Aus (she moved to England when she met and married his father). When he was 9 his mother re-married, he didn't like it at first, thought she was trying to replace his father, but now has come to accept his step-father. His 10 year old brother is his step-father's son. He still visits his father's family in England.
C4 - This is C1's other best friend. He is the stereotypical gay guy. Basically he's a girl in a guy's body. He's a lot like Anthony Marentino from Sex in the City. I was thinking Scotty but I'm not sure...
C5 - This is C1's best guy friend. He is taller than C1, brown hair, green eyes. They have known each other for years and tell each other everything. C3 can get jealous of his relationship with C1 but there is nothing between them but friendship... yet. I don't know whether there is going to be anything more. He's reliable, caring, loves C1 dearly (more like a big brother) and is very protective of her. This also make C3 uncomfortable.
I like Luke for either C3 or C5 but can't decide.
Also, I need names for C3's parents. His dad that died is James, and I was thinking either Kate or Hannah for his mum, his step-dad I have no idea.
Middle and last names would be great too.
