Just read on article on Nameberry about girls being named after their dads.
A good portion of the comments mentioned you don't really see boys being named after mom.
I've thought about naming a daughter in honor of me somehow (most likely with Marie or Anna) but not a son before I read this.
For me, I'm Brianna Marie. No real way to turn that masculine. (I wish) Other than the obvious Brian. My dad is Bryan so I would probably go with that spelling, but I feel I'm honoring him more than myself with it.
I've also thought about using my surname as a middle name since it can work very well for both.
Not me specifically but going from female to male, I've thought about using Colin to honor my mom, Coleen.
If you were to name your son in honor of you, how would you go about it?

My name is Rachel so I would probably just go with the typical Ray although I am much more likely to use Rae as a middle name for a girl. I would like to honor my best friend Samantha by using the middle name Samson on a boy though.
