Do you know any one that has had a baby recently? If so, what was the baby's name? We can all talk about it :)

Just last week, my cousin had a baby girl named Layna Estelle, Estelle being after the grandmother. I personally love Estelle and think the sound of the name Layna is pretty too, though i'm not crazy about the spelling because of the y for some reason.. WHat do you all think??

I like Lana (prefer this spelling, but Layna is alright too), and Estelle is nice. Especially since it's honoring! :) Congrats to your family :)

Recently, a few of my friends from school have become moms...
Sharon gave birth to a girl, Riley Lynn Marie
Sarah gave birth to a girl, Maria Hart (both names honoring family members, but I'm not sure exactly who)
Dawn gave birth to a boy, Dorian Tyree

And also, my uncle and his girlfriend had a baby girl (lots of girls lately! :P), Abigail Catherine (Catherine after a close friend who recently passed away) who joins big sister Ashton Elizabeth (Elizabeth is her mom's mn)

:)

I really like the name Layna, though spelled Laina. Estelle is gorgeous!

I know a lot of babies recently born...
May Babies (from before we moved)
Isabella's gymnastic friend's mom Angela had a baby girl Emma Sophia, who joins Elizabeth and James.
Isabella's soccer friend's mom Jane had a baby boy Rowan Michael (he's SO cute!). He joins big sister Lily.
Lilly's friend's mom Maggie had a baby girl Adelaide Lily nn Addie. She joins big sister Ella.

June Babies
My best friend McKenna had a baby last week named Jordan Matthew who joins big sisters McKayla and Madison.

And...my new neighbor Katie had her first bundle of joy last week and named her baby girl Victoria Jane.

Kirwin is actually a last name. It's been in their family for awhile - Mirabel's mom has the same middle name and it was her grandmother's last name.

I like most of them - Agatha Rose was after both grandmothers and I have a friend who bemoans that they didn't choose Rose Agatha instead. She calls the baby Rose - ha!

My cousin just had a baby girl And I don't really like her name. I know it sounds mean.

My cousin is Kaitlin Marie B. & her baby is Candy Lynn Marie. (2mn)

See what I mean Candy Lynn sounds like Candy land or Candy lane. Marie is after Kaitlins middle.

What do you think?

Eek, Candy Lynn Marie is pretty cringe worthy. Candy Lynn does sound like Candy Land, and Candy is kind of stripper-ish (no offense to all of the non-stripper Candys of the world).

Maybe Vanity is a common name in some parts of the world, but it seems really strange. Vanity doesn't seem like a particularly desirable virtue.

Agatha Rose is gorgeous. I know I'm in the minority, but I really like Agatha.

Some recent births:
Maya Marie
Kaden Lee
Lauren Kate
Kaylee (don't know middle name), joins brother Owen

My friend's mom had a baby boy yesterday afternoon. His name is Taven James. At first, I wasn't sure about Taven, but it grew on me after hearing it for awhile. It's pronounced TAY-vin.

Is Healthley as a boy or a girl? It's a bit too close to Healthy if you ask me.
