For a girl...not short for anything. Does Sonny sound weird as a full name. I don't like any names that Sonny is short for.

I know a girl named Sonny (no nn) I think it is fine for a girl. Though I'm not much of a fan of Katelyn it sounds nice with Sonny.

Sonny - NO WAAAAY!!!! I know a BOY name sonny who is really weird (he has aspergers) and I can't get that association out of my head. Also, SONNY is too similar to SON; not nice on a girl. Unless you want a child to be miserable, do not name her sonny!
Katelyn - I love this, but it's a little trendy.

It's not his fault he has Asperger's. You really should be careful what you say,, cuz you don't know who you might offend. I have Dyspraxia and my friend's sister has Asperger's. Everyone's different,, doesn't mean we're 'weird'.
