Mireille Eloise Ellenburg {10} and Jacques Pierre Ellenburg {10} are the adopted siblings of Alexandra and Miriam, and the aunt and uncle of Ava. Reille is a gifted artist, and loves to paint and draw. She spends a lot of time in the studio that her parents built in the garden, and hopes one day to study art at University. Jacques loves sports, and plays on most of the sporting teams at his school. He wants to take part in the Olympics one day, and hopes to win a gold medal for the 1500m.

Ransom Akello Abbott-Sseke {10} & Eliana Mayberry Gosselin {9} are teammates of Jacques. Ransom plays Soccer and runs Track with Jacques, and Eliana just runs track. The three are the star runners, and also best friends since preschool. Mireille and Eliana know each other and get along fine, but have never been close. Eliana is very sporty, and Mireille very artsy. Ransom, along with his younger brother, was adopted from Kenya after his parents died. His dad was an olympic gold-medalist runner and died in a car accident with Ransom's mother, his wife. Ransom shares the aspiration with Jacques to be a gold-medalist like his father.

Aria Evelina Gosselin is Eliana's 6 year old sister. She is not athletic like her sister. She is very smart but painfully shy. She loves to read and she loves animals but is very timid around strangers.

Portia Victory Gosselin {7 mo} is the younger sister of Eliana and Aria. She cries more than her sisters did, but she is still a caring girl. Portia is a girly girl by her sisters and mother's doing. She is nearly always is wearing a dress or tutu, and her ears are pierced. She has a collection of bows.

Erin Grace Snow (13) is Eliana, Aria, and Portia's cousin. She loves babysitting for her new baby cousin.

Emily Reagan Snow {4} is the younger sister of Erin. She is very artistic and loves decorating things. Her favorite holiday is Christmas and more than anything she loves looking at Christmas lights. She helps her mom put up the family Christmas tree every year, and bakes cookies with her older sister for her dad when he puts lights outside the house.

Eric Alexander Snow (1) is the younger brother of Erin and Emily. He is just learning to walk and loves trying to take the ornaments off the Christmas tree.

Wiley Dustin Sharpe {6} is a friend of the Snow family, he is in their playgroup. He can get in to trouble quite a lot, but he doesn't mean to. He has a good heart, just prone to causing problems. His dad left when he was four, and his mom is raising him by herself. She has a great job as a doctor and makes great money, but her attention isn't always on Wiley and he can feel the need to act out. Overall, he is a good kid and loves people. He doesn't like disappointing anyone, especially not his mom.

Harper Eloise Sharpe and Caden Joseph Sharpe {nb} are the newborn twin cousins of Wiley. They were long waited for, and are the result of five rounds of IVF after three miscarriages, and six years of trying. Harper and Caden are already very lively babies, and they bring light and happiness to everyone who meets them.

Jillian Raleigh Parker {6} is a cousin of Harper and Caden, on the opposite side of the family as Wiley. Jillian is taking dance classes as she wants to be a professional dancer when she grows up. She has won several national championships in her age category for different dance types. Her personal favorite being Jazz, she also likes hip-hop and ballet.

Cassandra Rose Parker (16) is Jillian's sister and Harper and Caden's cousin. She is really close to her little sister.She wants to be an author and even though she's only 16 recently got her first book published. It was a children's book  inspired by her little sister about a young dancer who discovers she has magic powers. She dedicated it to her sister too.

Hanna Rio Parker {2}, with golden retriever pup Louie-Gooey Parker, is the youngest Parker sister, sibling to Cassandra and Jillian, cousin to Harper and Caden. Hanna loves playing dress-up and playing with Louie-Gooey more than anything in the world. She is quiet and shy, but loves her sisters very much. She can't wait until "C'sawndwa" writes a book, and she loves to watch "Jiwwian" doing her dancing.

Ridley Orion Scott {3} is Hanna's best friend. He lives across the street from the Parkers, and met Hanna because their older sisters are friends too. His family spends a lot of time around the Parker family, and they often go on vacation together. Ridley is a happy go lucky boy, who loves spending time with his family. He loves drawing and painting, and likes to draw cars and trains a lot. He has a lot of trains that he plays with, and he lets Hanna play too. Sometimes he plays moms and dads with her, because he likes it when she's happy and smiling.

Lorelai Piper Scott {7} is Ridley's older sister, neighbor to the Parkers, and best friend of Jillian. Her favorite thing to do is read books, and she often shares them with her little brother Ridley. Another of her favorite things to do is travel with her family, and she likes how Jillian and Hanna sometimes get to go.

Aria Bailey Scott (15) is the sister of Ridley and Lorelai, and Cassandra's best friend.. She loves to draw and paint and she and Cassie plan to work together, her designing covers and illustrating for Cassie's books.

George Arthur Yates (16) is Aria's boyfriend. He's the eldest of nine kids, and is being heavily pressurized by his parents to help out the family finances and get a job instead of going to college. He's the photographer for the student paper and can almost always be found behind the lens of his camera.

Brendon Uriel Novak (35) is one of George's teachers. He thinks that George is really talented and has been getting him to enter for scholarships and try to get different need based aid stuff lined up so he can be able to go to a good school. He really thinks Mr. and Mrs. Yates are wrong trying to get George to take some dead-end job to help pay for the children they decided to have. The responsibility shouldn't fall onto the other kids, but the parents themselves. Brendon really hopes George will listen to his advice.

Thomas Eli and William Oliver "Will" Yates {8} are younger brothers of George, and they look up to him very much. They hate the pressure that their parents have put on their eldest sibling, and they think George should listen to Mr. Novak. When Will grows up, he wants to be a pilot for British Airways, and Thomas wants to be a History teacher.

Susannah Marie Yates [nee Smith] (31) is the mother of George, Thomas, William and six other children. She had George with her boyfriend, now husband, when she was fifteen years old. She works a dead-end manager position at a local diner and doesn't have much aspiration in life because there is nothing she thinks she can do. She and Mr. Yates are very irresponsible and kept getting pregnant without thinking of finances and are struggling to take care of their kids. So, selfishly, they've been trying to keep George home and get him to get a job and start helping out with the money because they're struggling so much. Yet, both Susannah and her husband haven't tried to get a second job or anything like that.
