Both names are really pretty! They are both unisex names, however, so to avoid confusion, I'd go with the Payton spelling and the Devon spelling.

Devin/Devon Michael is nice.
I wouldn't use Peyton/Payton since you've already got a "-ton" name in the set. Is Marie a family name? If not, I wouldn't use that, either, since it's a pretty overused middle name. Here are some ideas:
Tamsin Maria
Paz Mariana
Penny Miranda
Jillian Martha
Penelope Martha
Ellen Miranda
Megan Miranda

I want a unisex name that ends in the "in" sound. Marie is not a family name i just think it sounds pretty with Peyton/Payton

Would you consider unisex FN's for your twins that don't end in the "-in" sound? That way, you aren't so limited on what names match when/if you have more kids. You could have the twins names end the same way. Here's some ideas on names:
Blair
Blakeley / Blakely
Briley
Carter
Darby
Darcy
Drew
Ellery
Emory
Fairfax
Finlay / Finley
Flannery
Hadley
Halle
Harlem
Harley
Harlowe
Harper
Henley
Holland
Hunter
Indiana
Juneau
Juniper
Keeley
Kendall
Kennedy
Landry
Leslie
Lux
Mackenzie
Marlowe
Massie
Memphis
Merritt
Monroe
Oakley
Parker
Piper
Presley
Raleigh
Reese
Sage
Sailor
Shiloh
Skylar
Tatum
Vesper
York
Or, consider a longer unisex name ending in "-in" to make the sibset more coherent:
Ellington
Emerson
Kensington
Madigan
Sullivan
Jameson
Some cute sibsets:
Ashton, Lux, and Sage.
Ashton, Sailor, and Sage.
Ashton, Monroe, and Merritt.
Ashton, Piper, and Landry.
Ashton, Skylar, and Parker.
Ashton, Keeley, and Finlay.
Ashton, Marlowe, and Memphis.
Ashton, Raleigh, and Oakley.
Ashton, Juneau, and Emory. (this one sounds really tasteful imo)
Ashton, Lux, and Landry.
Ashton, Harper, and Holland.
Ashton, Juniper, and Hunter.
Ashton, Blakely, and Carter.
Ashton, Darcy, and Drew.
Ashton, Hadley, and Briley.
Ashton, Tatum, and Harlem.
Ashton, Massie, and Henley.
Ashton, Madigan, and Emerson.
Ashton, Kensington, and Jameson.

we would even consider non unisex names that end in the "in" sound but it has to end in the "in" sound. my family has a thing with name patterns

All unisex is a name pattern, imo. What about the same amount of letters?
That would leave you these from my suggestions:
Briley
Carter
Ellery
Finlay / Finley
Hadley
Harlem
Harley
Harlow
Harper
Henley
Hunter
Juneau
Keeley
Landry
Leslie
Marlow
Massie
Monroe
Oakley
Parker
Sailor
Shiloh
Skylar
Vesper
