Which spelling do you prefer? What are your opinions on this name? Is it dated or ready or revival? Do you think it's a
pretty variant on Mary?

My opinion: Its unique and pretty but not my style. I love the spelling Mariah and I prefer Mariah to Mary because Mary is quite dated.

I like it, I know a sweet little chinese girl named Mariah, and its left a great impression on me personally!

The spelling Mariah is definitely my favorite, Moriah doesn't look correctly to me personally

I think the spelling Moriah might have the possiblility of being mispronounced like Moira (MOY rah). Other than that I think it is a great name. Very elegant and underused. Mariah would get my vote though.

I feel like I have been seeing more and more Mariah/Moriah's I had never even considered it before but it got me thinking. Do you think they are said differently? Is Mariah Mah- and moriah Muh- ... If that makes sense?

I remember in the Babysitters Club books a character who spelt it Myriah - I always thought that was cute x
