Sylvia makes it onto my favorites list periodically, so I was already a fan, lol. I've been tending toward "old-people" names lately, so take my opinion with a grain of salt - I'm biased.
I love the nickname Sylvie as well. Sylvie could be a given name as well, being the French version and all.
