I'm currently 4 months pregnant. Not sure what we are having yet. I LOVE the name Canaan for a girl. I know it's traditionally a boy name but I think it sounds very feminine. What do you think???

How is it pronouced? If it's pronounced like the word cannon, I would say it seems a little masculine.

I personally don't care for Canaan on a girl but I can see the appeal. I mean, technically it's a place name and place names could go either way. And the "Kay" and "Ann" sounds are both traditionally feminine.
