A woman is expecting 12 babies, whatever that is. It beats Nadia Sulman hands down. I wonder what she'll call them, or how many will survive, because that's a huge number and there will be no room for all of them. I wish the family lots of luck and hope!

SAYYY WHAT?

It says she's going to give birth naturally, I DOUBT that.

I'm guessing three will live. And its in Tunisia, so that basically kills off 6.

That is SHOCKING! I did hear she was planning on a natural birth :P

I hope the babies turn out OK! And i really hope the mum is up for it, and it isn't revealed she has another 10 or so at home already, like Nadia Suleman. Good luck to them!

That's insane! I can't even fathom having that many babies. The chances of her poor babies actually making it are so slim...it's sad. :P

I really hope not everything they wrote is true.
A pregnancy with that many fetuses is a huge danger both for the mother and the babies. I highly doubt fertility specialists agreed to implant that many embryos :/
What was the woman thinking when she decided to use fertility drugs to that extent? She's going to go into labor at less than 25 weeks, which means the chance of all the babies, if any, surviving, is extremely slim. Not to mention her body is never gonna be able to carry TWELVE babies!

I'm sorry but to me,this is wrong on MANY levels! I really hope it maybe a hoax or something! There is a very very slim chance the babies with survive! What is with so many babies being born at one time, it is just insane and any doctor that would implant that many embryos should not be a doctor!

I was readin the story and she says "This is an absolute miracle, and we all feel blessed after struggling so hard to have children" She m/c 2 babies in 2 years..Ok yea that's sad but I've lost 6 babies and I wouldnt turn to fertility to implant me with 12...That's just insanely wrong..Now not only will she have lost 2 babies..but she will most likely lose most if not all of the babies she's carrying now and it being her own stupidity.. There would of been nothing wrong to implant 3 or 4..not 12

The story was pronounced false.

Here's the link to it:

12 Baby Story Proved False

A 12-baby pregnancy is near to impossible.

I may be wrong for saying this, but why is the assumption that she went to a fertility doctor and did this? Humans have had higher order multipules naturally, it's rare and spontanous and sometimes the mulitpules are identical twins of each other

http://www.hindu.com...40502342000.htm
In this case the woman ovulated 2 eggs and both split into identical twins! natural quads!
http://en.wikipedia....nne_quintuplets
One egg split 4 times, natural quints

i've also heard of other natural multipules where 2 eggs ovulated and 1 split and you've got triplets, also saw on on tv natural identical quad girls.

not that fertility drugs make babies resulting for it not natural, but I think that just because one idiot nayda whoever had octuplets we shouldnt throw the baby out with the bathwater on other multipule births. i think nayda should have securred a better lifestyle for the chldren she had before trying to have even one more.
