So, after watching BBC's Robin Hood on Netflix, I've really fallen for the name Robin on a boy.

The only thing is that the infamy associated with Robin Thicke really bothers me. Is it enough to totally ruin this name? I'm not sure.

What middles do you think go well with it, if I do decide to add it to my list? I think Robin Theodore is sweet, but other suggestions are appreciated.

I actually prefer Robin on a boy versus a girl. I honestly didn't even think about Robin Thicke when I first read this. I thought of Robin Hood right away! I'm a huge fan of Disney and fairy tales anyway. :P I guess it just depends on how much someone is into pop culture. Robin is very handsome for a boy though! <3

Robin Theodore is nice and sweet sounding. I'd go for it.

How about:

Robin Jack

Robin Tucker

Robin Zachary

Robin Cade

Robin Everett

Robin Chase

Robin Levi

Robin Pierce

Robin Micah

Robin Elliott

Robin Gabriel

Robin Dashiell

Robin Lucas

Robin Henry

Thanks for the input. I was hoping that I wouldn't be the only one who was attached to Robin Hood  And I really like Robin Chase, Robin Henry, and Robin Elliot too.

Robins handsome, can totally be masculine too :) I associate it with Robin Hood as well, but I've been watching the Disney version as Archer got it as a gift for christmas from a friend lol (hardy har ;) )

Also, I have no idea who Robin Thicke is. But if he's a criminal of some sort then I guess I'd think of it as how the names Bonnie and Clyde are still used even with those associations?

Robin Theodore is handsome! Also...

Robin Isaac

Robin Noah

Robin Benjamin

Robin Hadrian

Robin Wallace

Robin Garrett

Robin Matthias

Robin Levi

Robin Charles

Robin Zachary

Robin Louis

Robin Vincent

Robin Holden

Robin Jack

Robin Finley

Robin Tobias

WDYT? More?

Robin Thicke is actually a singer who hasn't made very favorable choices lately haha  ;) But I suppose it's not that bad if it's not something that would be brought to mind right away.

And thanks for the suggestions! I love Robin Matthias

And haha I haven't actually seen Disney's version of Robin Hood. Archer is a cutie though  ^_^

I love Robin! I think right away of Robin Hood, and then onto batman's sidekick. The only celebrity I'd ever think of is Robin Williams, and that isn't really a bad connotation. I'd heard the name Robin Thicke before, but never known who he was. I just googled him, and I think that his popularity won't last long. Also, I doubt he will be remembered at all in twenty years. But I could just be oblivious...

I have Thomas Eli Robin on my list

I love the name Robin, it's a favourite of mine :) I am very anti-Robin Thicke but I really don't think his fame will last long enough to cast a negative light on this name. I don't actually immediately associate this name with anything, though Robin Hood is an old fave show of mine!

I really like Robin Theodore! Maybe also:

Robin Tor

Robin Gabriel

Robin Llewellyn

Robin Finley

Robin Milo

Robin Lucas

Robin Frederick

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I'm really glad to hear that Robin Thicke doesn't deter you all from the name as much as I thought it would.

My best friend (a girl) is named Robin.  I love the idea of using Robin on a boy to honor her.   I really like the previous suggestions of Robin Finley & Robin Elliot.  I think something with a modern English/Scottish feel would match Robin style-wise.
