At my church, there is a teenage girl that helps with the sunday school class Lilah is in and her name is Chrisaixa, pronounced Chris-ice-uh. I believe it is a combination of her parents names, Chris & Aixa. I was curious as to what you all thought of this name. Too out there, pretty, different, etc...??

I wouldn't know how to pronounce it from the spelling. It has a certain charm....I can't decide if i like it or not...

It's different. I would've had no idea how to pronounce it from the spelling either. I don't really like the pronounciation. Also, its not very creative, all they did was put the two names together. They could have done something like Chrixa or Airis.

Yeah, I didn't realize that she spelled it that way until recently when I saw her name tag and asked her about it. She said she gets asked all the time how to say her name which isn't surprising lol. I think it's different, it definitely fits her but I don't think I would ever use it.
