Okayy, I'm working on making combinations to add to my list, and have a few names I'd love opinions on!

Just answer one, or answer them all really. I'll be super appreciative of any form of assistance!!! :)

1. Isabel vs Isadora vs Isolde
I love Isabel (Isabelle, Isobel, I don't care the spelling at this second. Focasing on the sound here :) ). But Isadora sounds really beautiful as well. And I really love Isolde as well! It'd still be as a middle name for Maeve, so Maeve Isabel, Maeve Isadora, or Maeve Isolde <3

2. Gemma vs Emma
I used to hate Gemma, thought it felt trendy and EHEJBAKJBFHA. But lately, I've really been loving how it sounds! I mean, I love Emma too. Always have, always will. But it almost feels plain... definitely feels overused. And Gemma isn't that much different, but I still love it at the moment. Especially since I've been loving Scarlett, and Gemma and Scarlett feel like a perfect sib set! <3 I'd need middle names though. Idea's please?

3. Baylee vs Bailey
I've been starting to like it for whatever reason. Opinions on the name itself and/or spelling?

4. Shiloh
I've loved this for a while, used to be a middle name for Emma. But now I want a combo on its own. I tried Shiloh Madeleine, but I don't care for it much.

5. Gisele
I've been starting to love this as well! Not sure why haha. I used to always mis-pronounce it like the animal lol. But I like it. FN/MN idea's welcome!

6. Jill
probably only use it as a middle name, or even use Jillian. WDYT? mn/fn's?

7. Guinevere
I used to hate this as well, but now I kinda like it. What comes to your mind from this name?

8. Aurora
I kinda like the nick name Rory, though I still have a hard time pronouncing it... I also like Aura though! WDYT?

9. Giovanni
I used to dislike this name a lot... but it seems so handsome! <3 Opinions and middle/first name options?

Thank you sooo much for any amount of help you can provide!!! <3 Underlines are on most of them to basically provide what I'm asking for on each name.... but don't feel limited to just whatever it says lol. I'm really open to anything! <3

1. I prefer Isodora or Isolde. Isabel is to close to Isabella and the Twilight naming business.

2. I don't really enjoy Gemma as it sounds like a nickname to me. Perhaps it's just where I live though. It is very cute and I like the switch up from Emma.

3. Bailey. It's an Old English name so I'd go with the classic spelling.

4. Shiloh Nouvel is what Angelina Jolie's little girl's name is. I think it sounds good so perhaps another French name would work. Rene, Aimee, Adrienne, Amelie, etc. Shiloh Guinevere sounds nice.

5. Gisele is nice but I just associate it with Gisele Bundchen. Her name is Gisele Caroline. Gisele Katherine, Gisele Josephine, Gisele Anastasia, Gisele Juliana, Gisele Raquel, Gisele Victoria

6. I think Jill is cute but if it's a middle name I would make sure to use at least a two syllable first name with it. Samantha Jill, Willow Jill, Natalie Jill, Giovanna Jill

7. Guinevere makes me think of King Arthur. I do like this name and the nickname Gwen is cute.

8. I like Aurora but not so much Aura. That makes me think of someone trying to cleanse your aura. It just sounds like a nickname to me.

9. Giovanni...are you wanting Italian middle names with it?

I dont really like either name, but I do think Gem is a really cute nickname.

3. Baylee vs Bailey
Discussed this name yesterday with a friend, she loves Bailey, me not so much.

1. Isabel vs Isadora vs Isolde
I've recently become in love with Isabel lately, too! and I'm stumped on middle names!

2. Gemma vs Emma
I love Emma! I don't have a favorite at the moment, but I do like Emma Courtney and Emma Brooke.

3. Baylee vs Bailey
I was in love with this one a few months back. I prefer Bailey. Middle Names? Bailey Elizabeth, Bailey Jo...

4. Shiloh
Wish I could help ya on this one, but this isn't my style. . .

5. Gisele
This is cute!

6. Jill
I like Jill as a middle name as well. :] Jillian Emma sounds okay.

7. Guinevere
This isn't my style.

8. Aurora
I love Aurora. Lily Aurora is really cute!

9. Giovanni

I have watched the first Twilight movie... but I haven't read the books or anything else. I disliked it haha xx But I don't even think of Twilight when I hear Isabel/Isabella <3 I dislike how popular Isabel/Isabella is, its like the top name in the SSA. Sadly enough.... but as a middle name, I'm not too worried about associations or popularity, because middle names aren't used too often. I'm still very unsure about Isadora, but I am loving Isolde. <3

Gemma is sort of nick name ish, I suppose. It really isn't much different at all from Emma, which is way too popular. But Gemma is still very unused, and it has Gem as a nick name. I feel like it'd be more unique, maybe. But not out there or something. With Gem as a nick name maybe. Not sure if I'd ever need a nick name, definitely not for more than just a "Hey Gem, could you get this please?" or something.

I am certainly more fond of the original spelling, Bailey. I'm still quite unsure about if I like it or not, but it has a similar feel to Aubrey, which I also love. Idk <3

I do like how the french names sound as a middle name! I like Shiloh Renee, Shiloh Amelie, and Shiloh Guinevere! I'm iffy on actually ever using Guinevere, but it sounds gorgeous with Shiloh <3 Shiloh Genevieve might be another option... actually no. Haha don't mind me. I like Shiloh Guinevere is pretty-- thanks!

Is Gisele Bundchen a bad association? I know she's a model and all, but has she done anything remarkably bad to where the name is kinda tainted? <3 Gisele Katherine and Gisele Josephine are sweet, thanks!

I'd use Jill as middle name i'm thinking :) Jillian maybe as either. But Jill is kinda short and plain. Willow Jill is nice, maybe Samantha Jill maybe as well <3

King Arther... I'm still yet to read the book of him, I want to but haven't yet. I like the association personally though haha. And Gwen is a cute nick name! <3

Aura would only be a nick name <3 I have Aurelia nick name Aura on my list as well. (Aurelia Fern is on my list <3). But I still kinda like Aurora.

I'm open to any middle name (or even first names) that sound nice with it. Maybe Italian, maybe not haha.

1. Isabel vs Isadora vs Isolde
Love Isabel spelt anyway, I may be biased as my niece is called Isabella. Dont really like Isadora or Isolde.

2. Gemma vs Emma
I dont really like either name, but I do think Gem is a really cute nickname.

6. Jill

7. Guinevere
I dont know how this is pronounced

8. Aurora
I love this name, Rory and Aura (never thought of this one, nice work) are super cute nicknames

9. Giovanni
Dont like much sorry, maybe Mn

Sorry not sure if I helped but I Love
Isabel/Isobel
Aurora
Jillian

:)

I do love Isabel... <3 Isadora... iffy on. Isolde and Isabel I adore, unsure which I love more though.

I do like Gem as a nick name... though I wouldn't call her Gem that often. I like the full name to used as well haha

I'm still unsure. I keep seeing it come up and am unsure if I like it or not! I kinda do, kinda don't... I dunno haha.

I saw a movie with a girl named Shilo in it, and it helped my liking it (though I loved it ever since the first time I heard it lol). Sadly, my first hearing it was on Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (or whatever her last name is lol). But, I do love the name for itself. And Shy/Shi is a cutesy nick name! <3

Mmm, Gisele I'm still iffy. Jill would be a middle name, Jillian maybe either <3

Guinevere is gwen-ah-veer, if I'm correct lol. After my french heritage, I'm thinking. I'd love to use names that fit in with my background and all, and I'm very french and very Italian. So this would fit in lol.

I'm unsure how well Aura works, but I do love it. It almost just sounds like I'm forgetting a part of it or something.... I dunno <3

I used to hate Giovanni, now its got this appeal.. I just don't know lol <3

Thanks very much for the help!!!! It really helped a lot! <3 Shiloh Guinevere is definitely on the list now, and thanks so much!!! I think what I need now is just more mn/fn's for the remaining names really <3

2. Gemma vs Emma
Emma is defiantly really common and overused.. but I still find it somewhat pretty! I have Emmeline on my list, as its different and still gorgeous :) I dont really like Gemma at all..
Scarlett and Emma make a great sibset too. Its wierd how Emma and Gemma sound so alike, yet I only like Emma.. hmm..

Ehh, now that its brought to mind, Isadora will make me think of Dora :[ I've been liking old fashioned names... though, not too old haha. No Bertha's for me :x

Mmm, I do like Emmeline. And I still love Emma. But after reading a few books all about girls named Gemma, I started growing more attached to it <3 (may be just the attachment to the characters though hahaha!).

I forget Bailey is unisex sometimes... and I kinda like it on a boy :-O I forgot about that... thanks Ash! I think I might add Bailey to my boys list... <3

It is kinda a guilty pleasure of mine.. but haha go ahead and steal it! :-) I do like it a lot... but I don't know if I could ever actually use it <3

its pronounced jih-zelle, almost like the animal gezelle but not :p But it does make me think of the animal... which makes me chuckle.

It is wicked old fashioned. I know a girl named Jillian which certainly effects my liking for it lol. Which is funny, cause I really dislike Lillian, but Jillian is gorgeous in my mind haha.

OoOo, magic!!!! It means white phanom, ghost so says my name book. But not worries, this isn't my real list!!!! (Cause Kate Sophia, Maeve Isabel, Liam Alexander, and Eli Christopher are still my absolute favorites, as are my other names... these ones have just stricken interest in my mind :-) Not sure why, tbh. And I dunno if they'll ever actually be added to my list. But they are pleasant). This one is starting to grow on me though :) xx Prolly be just a guilty pleasure... along with Shiloh <3 Shiloh Guinevere! <3 But I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies :L I can't until I move out....

I have no idea on middle names at all yet, actually <3

OoOo, thanks for so many middle names for Giovanni! Giovanni Matthew is my absolute favorite from the suggestions... though I generally love them all! <3 And Gee sounds like a much better nick name than what I was thining lol... I would just use Anni/Ani (pronounced AHH-knee, like the Ah has stress not like I'm screaming lol) Kinda girly, but idk. hah

Thanks so much, Ash!!! :D It helped loads! <3

1. Isabel vs Isadora vs Isolde
I like Isabel (or Isabelle), but only those spelling. I love Isadora, but probably only because I'd use the nickname Dora, which I love <3 Isolde... I'm not even sure how to pronounce that (I assume it's just the way it looks), but I'm not sure of how it looks written down, so... no...

2. Gemma vs Emma
I'm not too keen on Gemma, but Emma seems alright. It's the better of the two, at least. And I love the name Emma Elizabeth <3

3. Baylee vs Bailey
I HATE the spelling Baylee (no offense intended), but Bailey is sweet.

4. Shiloh
Maybe as a middle name, but I'm not sure.

5. Gisele

Pirate of the Caribbean ruined this for me, even if it is only mentioned in passing (I think). I do like it as a middle name, though...

6. Jill
I profer Jillian, but I'd still only use it as a middle name. Name ideas; Rebecca Jillian, Rachel Jillian, Lucy Jillian, Charlotte Jillian.

7. Guinevere

I love this name <3 It makes me think of the dragon princess in The Last Dragon Chronicles, with her long red hair and pretty eyes...

8. Aurora

Aurora's a guilty pleasure of mine, and I love the nickname Rory!

9. Giovanni

I'll look at your list for most of the fn/mn suggestions.

1. Isabel vs Isadora vs Isolde
Love Maeve Isolde, though not really my style. Fits well. Not a fan of Isabel and though I used to like Isadora there is a church called St. Isadore's near where I live and so I'm always reminded how Super Important that last 'a' is... I'd definitely pick Isolde, though I know it sort of has the same problem. If you like Isabel, may I suggest Mirabel? It is my favorite "bell" name.

2. Gemma vs Emma
Definitely Gemma, even though it is nms. I've never been a fan of the super-popular names like Emma. Gemma Caroline and Gemma Eleanor from your list. Gemma Coraline, Gemma Florence, Gemma Vivian from my list.

3. Baylee vs Bailey
I've known way too many Baileys to be positive about it. I do think Bailey spelling is far more sophisticated than the Baylee one.

4. Shiloh
Could be beautiful in the right combo. From your list... Shiloh Jillian, Shiloh Kate, Shiloh Genevieve, Shiloh Caroline <-- best IMO, with Shiloh Juliet a close second.

5. Gisele
Seems like a model/actress name, and too ambitious for my blood. I think it could be either super gorgeous or super clunky, depending on combo.

6. Jill
Don't think Jill would really work in the mn spot. Jillian is nice, and definitely better. Thalia Jillian, Piper Jillian, Clara Jillian/Claire Jillian, Evie Jillian.

7. Guinevere
Lovely romantic air, I really like Guinevere. I just can't bring myself to commit to it since it doesn't play well with many other names.

8. Aurora
I like it, but I wouldn't use it just for the nicknames. It is kind of a tongue-twister.

9. Giovanni
Ehhhh... I think you would have to be really Italian to use this. It just screams Italy.'

I'll try to add more later, I just got discouraged when I lost my first post.

8. Aurora

9. Giovanni
... I just don't see it... Daniel Giovanni, Alexander Giovanni, Jacob Giovanni, River Giovanni.

Mm, I always pronounce it eees-ohhhl-day, but I'm unsure if thats right. But in the same way I prefer Isabel pronounced Eee-sah-bell. (I think izz-uh-belle sounds so awkward and dorky lol). And Isabel is the spanish way of spelling it, and spanish has those long I's, so I figured that it made sense like this lol.

Emma Elizabeth is okay :) I have a bunch of combinations I love with Emma, I'm just looking for variety on my list, I suppose. Gemma is not on the SSA list if I'm not mistaken, which is kinda cool. Yet it's not a way out there name thats spelled awkward or something. Italian for gemstone :-)

No offense taken :-D But the more I look at it the more I agree Baylee doesn't look right... And I'm even starting to like Bailey on a boy!

If I were to ever use it in real life, it probably would be a middle name. But I do love Shiloh in general <3 Maybe as just a guilty pleasure, but I dunno <3

I've never watched Pirates of the Carribean lol, so I wouldn't know! I don't even know of any of the characters except captain Jack Sparrow... litterally. I have no idea of even the name or face of another character :P

I kinda like Rebecca Jillian (though I'd prefer Rebeka Jillian), or Lucy Jillian. Thanks!

I'll have to watch that as well, haha!

I'm thinking Aurora might be a gp too, cause I still have a hard time saying it. I love how it looks and sounds, but I'm speach impaired, I'm thinking! :P So I'd constantly get it wrong..... :x

I like Daniel Giovanni, actually! Thanks!!

I used to really dislike Isabelle, but then I watched a movie where a french lady was named this and she said it "EEE-sa-bel" and it made the name sound so pretty <3 I love the long I sound <3 I'm really stuck on which I like more: Maeve Isabel or Maeve Isolde. I've ruled Isadora out now. But I am super stuck on Isabel or Isolde.... I'll have to ask my bf lol.

I like Gemma Florence and Vivian from the onces you suggested!!! I've been trying to add more unusual/unique names into my list... because I dislike how popular all the names I like are now adays! It's absolutely terrible, I adore the name William/Liam but William is in the top 5, and Liam is in the top 30 :'( So unless the popularity severely changes by the time I have kiddo's... it might be left as a GP :L Breaks my heart its so popular... oh well. But my girls names are as well! So I'm hoping if I search long enough I'll fall in love with something less popular than Kate, Emma, and Sophia :x And Gemma is less popular, but it's so close to Emma that it might not make a difference... My search is currently in old fashioned names, I love my old fashioned names as well! Maeve Isolde would fit perfectly into that category, I think. And I actually adore Maeve-- maybe as much as Kate <3 (which would be a first, being Kate has been my number once since I was young). Thank god Maeve is so underused!!!! <3 She wouldn't be one of the many in her classroom, it's unique but not crazy/made-up/miss-spelled/etc. Haha, small rant there lol!

Bailey is hindered in its liking for Hailey/Haley/Haylee and Kailey/Kaleigh/Caylee's and Jaylee and everything! >.O but I think Bailey on a boy might be a GP of mine now <3

OoOo, Shiloh Caroline does sound super beautiful- and like a combo I could use some day! As does Shiloh Juliet! I love Shiloh Kate, but Kate has to be a first name for me <3 Thanks so much!!

Mmm, it does seem like a hit or miss name. And I can't see it being more than a guilty pleasure... but I do like it a lot anyways <3

I like Piper Jillian and Clara/Claire Jillian!!!

Agreeed <3 I have added Shiloh Guinevere to my list, though it seems too GP-ish to ever truly use. But I still love it <3 <3 <3 I'm unsure which other name would suit Guinevere.... since it is such a romantic, smooth, and gorgeously feminine name! <3

Mmmm, I wont use it for just nick names. I really do like how it sounds <3 ... even if I can't say it properly all the time :x When I do say it right, it sounds so beautiful! :)

It does really scream Italy lol... and I suppose I am not Italian enough to use it :L Only 1/4th haha.

Thank you so much, Elena and Heather!!! :) This helped a super lot!!! <3

1. I like both Isabel & Isolde. I think Isolde is more interesting, especially since Isabel is very popular. Also, I much prefer the spelling Isobel.
I only like Isadora as a mn.
Since you seem to like the "Is" names, I'll suggest Isla or Isis.

2. As far as Gemma vs. Emma, there's no doubt Emma wins in my mind. I love it.
I prefer Emily though, it seems just a little bit more grown up than Emma.
There's also Emilia, Emmeline, Ember, Embry, Emery, Emerson etc.

3. Mm. Not particularly fond of Bailey, but if I had to choose, definitely this spelling.
It seems a little "too" country for me, but not in the way I tend to like. (Which usually, I would adore i.e Beau, Noah, Deanna, Gracie .. etc)
It's not bad, don't get me wrong, I like it, but I wouldn't personally use it.
Might I suggest Haley, Halle, Leighton, Blaire, Alaina, Piper, Eliza, Charlotte, Rose, Peyton, Grier, Brooke, Avery, Audrey, Georgia, Lorelai, Jessie...?

4. Mm. I like Shiloh, but it's not a name I would ever use. I just can't see it on anyone but the Jolie-Pitt's little girl.
Shiloh Madeleine is rather beautiful though! And Emma Shiloh is cute.
Maybe Shiloh Noelle, Shiloh Georgina, Shiloh Rebecca, Shiloh Audrey, Shiloh Alexandra, Shiloh Estelle, Shiloh Isobel, Shiloh Renee...?

5. Giselle is okay. Makes me think of Giselle Bundchen though.
I only like it as a middle name. (I prn. it Jiz-ELLE)
Maybe Giselle Aubrey, Giselle Charlotte, Giselle Piper, Giselle Ava, Giselle Madeline, Giselle Katherine, Giselle Ruby, Giselle Scarlett..?

6. The only reason Jillian is okay to me is because I love her character [GILLIAN] on "Lie to Me". Otherwise, it's a no from me, sorry!
It's one of those names I simply dislike, for no apparent reason.

7. Well, I'm sure you know my opinion on Guinevere, Genevieve, Gwendolen & Gwyneth by now :)
I like Guinevere, but I'll admit I much prefer Genevieve or Gwendolen.
I'd use it only as a middle name. It's a BIG first name for ANYONE.
Anna Guinevere, Lydia Guinevere, Phoebe Guinevere, Ella Guinevere, Piper Guinevere, Sophia Guinevere, Eliza Guinevere, Pippa Guinevere, Emily Guinevere..?

8. I like Aurora, but prefer Ariella from it's similar names. Or maybe Aurore?
It's just very common now'a'days, especially with the nn. Rory.
Maybe Aurora Louise, Aurora Madeleine, Aurora Katherine, Aurora Sophie, Aurora Giselle, Aurora Violet.....

Personally feel like it would work better as a middle name. Aurora is a little too sparkly for me though.

9. As much as I love Italian names, Giovanni isn't my favourite. I prefer Giovanna (on a girl), but otherwise, it's a no from me.

Love the names Haddie <3

Thanks! I'm kinda leaning towards Isolde, being I love how unique it sounds but not rediculous. I'm just unsure if I can actually picture a girl with this name :P It sounds beautiful, looks sweet. I'm just having a hard time picturing a little girl with the name and all.. So I might end up using Isabel. But Isabel isn't quite as pretty as Isolde.... Hmmm :/ I do like Isla! Never thought of Isis before... Sounds a tad odd when I say it out loud- but I like it as well!

I do like Emily, loved it for a long, long time. And then I loved Emmeline.. then just Emma. I do like Emilia though! I'll have to think for a while on that one... Emilia vs Emily vs Emmeline vs Emma. Oh dear haha! Emma almost doesn't seem as grown up, but it's the one I really really love out of all of them... For the moment, I think I'm gunna keep Gemma and Emma on my list, and see which one I can find a more suiting middle name for, and which one fits in with my names better! Process of elimination.. <3

Bailey is super country like, and I used to dislike it so much and all... now that Ash brought it up to be used on a boy, I've been loving it much more! A GP, probably. But I do like it much more masculine than feminine. Out of the suggestions, I love: Leighton, Alaina, Piper, Eliza, Charlotte, Peyton, Grier, Brooke, Avery, Audrey, Georgia, Lorelai <3 Though, I'm unsure if I prefer Leighton on a boy or girl... and I think I definitely prefer Peyton on a boy. Audrey (or Aubrey). Like them so much though!!

OoOo, Shiloh Noelle, Shiloh Audrey, Shiloh Alexandra, Shiloh Estelle, Shiloh Isobel, and Shiloh Renee are all cute! I love Shiloh Alexandra, but its just the bias of my cousin lol. But Shiloh Estelle is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! Thanks so much, I love it!

I pronounce it the same way, and I also prefer it in the middle name slot. I think if I flipped most the combinations I'd love it! Charlotte Gisele, Piper Gisele, Ava Gisele, and Scarlett Gisele. Thanks!

I think I like Gillian better than Jillian, actually. But understandable :)

I definitely adore Genevieve much more than Guinevere. Genevieve Alana is still number 3 on my favorites, nick name Evie :P And I know Guinevere and Genevieve would probably not make a good sib set at all lol. But I still like the name, and figured that Guinevere can be a name I love but will never use. Cause it most certainly is a mouthful, and would be quite difficult to learn how to spell at a young age haha! Gwen would be a cute nick name though... <3 Definitely only as a middle name haha! I love these suggestions: Anna Guinevere, Phoebe Guinevere, Piper Guinevere, Sophia Guinevere, Eliza Guinevere, and Pippa Guinevere! I think Phoebe and Pippa might be my absolute favorites and all.

I like Ariella!!! Madeleine Ariella would be gorgeous!!! Thanks you!

Giovanna is kinda sweet. But I'm thinking I might have to disclude this from my list... the negative feedback has definitely veered me away from the name haha!

Thanks so much, Yas!!! :P

Shiloh Estelle is another definitely added to my list, and possibly a lot of the combo's :) Gotta' mull it over for a little while longer <3 Thanks again~
