So I have a tendancy to like exotic names and I'm afraid that my child might get teased for them. Two examples are Arabella and Andromeda (nickname "Andi"). What do you think?

I wouldn't say either is 'nerdy'. Arabella is actually quite mainstream. With Isabella, Annabella & their variants being so popular Arabella is hardly tease worthy. Andromeda is a little 'out there'. It certainly isn't terrible and again I don't see it as 'nerdy' or something to be teased about. I think it would make for a cool mn.
