How do you feel about having either two middles names or a double barreled middle name?

I love Amaya Joelle but I feel like it needs something more. Any suggestions?

Double middles are very unnecessary unless you're honoring, but that's just my opinion.

I love double middle names. Here's why:

-You have room to honor AND use a name(s) you love.

-If the child doesn't like their first name when they get older, they have other options. There's a sad but high chance that someone doesn't like their given name at one point or another in their life. But if they've got two middle names there's a good chance they'll like one of them! And they are less likely to change their name from the one you so carefully chose!

-Added sophistication: you can't say there isn't an added charm when you hear Oliver Henry Jack verses just Oliver Henry. At least for me!

I do think you should do it tastefully, and if you can't find a third name that sounds just right, don't use it. People always argue that two middle names is a pain on forms, but from my expierence it hasn't been a big deal. I have only had two middle names for a little bit, but I've renewed my passport, drivers license, and other things since then and haven't run into a single issue. If they ask for middle initial, you just give them the first middle's initial. :)

I'd love to give you some suggestions. What's your style? Any people you'd like to honor? Even if you don't like their name, you can tell it to us and we'll come up with derivatives or names that share the same meaning that could help you honor. :)

No particular style really. I love unique names that aren't crazy. Not honoring anyone I just think AMAYA JOELLE might sound nice with another middle name. I toyed with AMAYA JOELLE RENÉE but I wasn't sold. Would love some ideas! Thanks Addison.

My oldest daughter has two middle names. We had decided on Elizabeth because my husband would have been an Elizabeth. But, we both started liking another name. We didn't want to give up our first or middle name, so we stuck it in there. LOL.

Would it be pronounce like Joel or joe-elle?
