Being the astrological enthusiast that I am, I've always considered using a Zodiac sign as a middle.

The Zodiac Signs are:

Aries

Taurus

Gemini

Cancer

Leo

Virgo

Libra

Scorpio

Sagittarius

Capricorn

Aquarius

Pisces

The only ones that'd I'd be able to use are Taurus and Gemini for girls and Leo for a boy. But I've been thinking that I could pull the similar sounds out of the signs into an actual name.

EX:

Capricorn -> Caprice

Butttttt, I dislike Caprice. Do you see what I'm trying to do though? Any ideas? I don't want any too outrageous names, and nothing made up.

Oooh, Libra would be so pretty for a girl! And Virgo totally quirky-cool for a boy. Also, Aries would be nice for a boy. Even Zodiac itself could be handsome, the nickname Zac is nice, too. But if you don't want to use those:

Arielle or Ariella

Gemma

Capri

Leonie

Vira

Aqua

Aquaria

Ariel

Sagi

Viggo

Candor

Lancer

Picasso

Isces

My favorites are Sagi and Viggo for boys, Arielle for girls. Sagi is a Hebrew name that has ties to ancient Egypt, it means "elevated, lofty" or "dreamer"

Just thought of Sage or Sagan for Sagittarius.

Here are a few ideas for both genders. Hope these help.

Boys

Aries- Ariel, Aristotle, Arin (prn like Aaron)

Taurus-  Tyrese, Turin, Toro, Fintan (means bull)

Gemini- Jeremy nn Jem/Gem, Castor or Pollux (the twins that the constellation is named after), Thomas (means twin), also I think Gemini itself could be used as a name.

Cancer- Canaan

Leo- Leo itself, Leon, Leonardo, Leonard, Leander, Leopold, Leolin, Leonidas, and the following names, which mean lion: Aslan, Asad, Avi, Lev, Haidar, Othniel, Singh, Izem

Virgo- Viggo, Virgil

Libra- Libor, Liberius, Justice (since Libra represents the scales of justice)

Scorpio- Scorpio itself, Scorpius,

Sagittarius- Archer, Sagi, Sage

Capricorn- Giles (means goat)

Aquarius- Aquila, Aquil, any name with a meaning related to water.

Pisces- Percy, Trout

Girls

AriesAriel/Arielle/Ariella, Aria/Arya

Taurus- Tara (prn to rhyme with Laura), Taryn

Gemini- Gemma, Gemima/Jemima

Cancer- Candace

Leo- Lenore/Lenora, Leona, Leonie

Virgo- Virginia, Dido, Azra (both mean virgin), Corinna/Corinne, Rhian (means maiden), Elizabeth (called the Virgin Queen), every form of Mary.

Libra-  Libra itself, Libby/Libbie, Liberia

Scorpio- I couldn't think of anything for this one. Sorry. :(

Sagittarius- Sage, Terri/Terry, Yumi/Yumiko (means archer)

Capricorn- Capri, Capricia, Caprina,

Aquarius- Aqua, any name with a meaning related to water.

Pisces- Pearl and variants (pearls come from the water, so do fish, Pieces is a fish...okay so it's a little bit of a tenuous connection, but it's an idea).
