Actress Reese Witherspoon welcomed a son with husband Jim Toth. The boy's name is Tennesse James. Tennesse joins big sister, Ava (13) and big brother, Deacon (8) from Reese Witherspoon's previoys marriage with Ryan Phillippe.

Honestly, I'm not impressed with the name. It certainly doesn't fit with Ava and Deacon.

Tennessee Toth...

Yeah, not a fan in any way/shape/form.

James would've been a really great first name with Ava & Deacon.

Agreed. Totally doesn't flow well at all with Ava & Deacon ... & regardless I am not a fan of the name Tennessee anyway!

I loved Ava and Deacon... I'm sure Tennessee is to represent her home state.. but it just doesn't go.
I'm disappointed. James does tone it down a little and TJ could be an adorable nickname. Ava, Deacon and TJ/James works beautifully!

I loove Tennessee as a name. /biased
No but seriously. It's such a cool name, and I love it for either sex. Hate that a celeb used it so it may go up in popularity...
HOWEVER. I think Tennessee doesn't go at all with Ava or Deacon...you can really tell which kids are from one marriage and which one is from another...which I would think would be something you wouldn't aim for...
But I do like alliteration, and while Tennessee Toth isn't my favorite, I do think it has a cool vibe.

I agree. I like the name, but it doesn't fit with her other kids names. Unless they call him James ? :\
