You got Kari right, but I'm not sure about Alisa. It's not pronounced like Alyssa because the i sounds like a long e.

Sorry, I did get it wrong, but its still a lovely name. ;)

Boy names we are thinking of are (all same first name, but different middle names)...

Nathan Troy
Nathan Frederick
Nathan Rolfe
Nathan George
Nathan Charles
Nathan Lawrence
Nathan Andrew

Our last name ends in an s, and I heard the last letter of the first name should not have the same sound as the first letter of the last name, but not sure if that matters for the middle name as much. All the middle names come from a family member.

Hope you liked my ratings! I try to be as honest as possible without being mean or rude. I mean no offence what so ever.

As far as the sounds of first and last name, I never really saw that as a problem. It was with the ending sound of the first and the beginning sound of the middle. Ex: Karen Noelle. The N sound that connects to names has the potential to blur together, making it sound more like one name than two.

Another thing I've always seen matter to me was the way it rolled off the tongue and the amount of syllables it has. My nephew has a long last name, Waterson, 3 syllables. His father decided that a short first name and a longer middle name sounded best. So they named him Lyle Alexander Waterson, with is a syllable pattern of 2,4,3. While his sister on the other hand had two medium length names to go with her long last name, Candice Marie Waterson, so a 2,2,3. Both flow pretty well. But take a name like Jae Brenna Waterson, 1,2,3 and it doesn't go to well.

But really, the only thing that matters is that you like the name. These are just examples and advice. :)
