Which spelling do you like better? Pronounced like the end of Priscilla.
Just a note: Silla means chair in Spanish.

I prefer Cilla, I think the C spelling makes the pronunciation clearer.

Silla, the word for chair in spanish, is pronounced as (SEE yah).

Cilla makes me think of Cilia, the microscopic hairs I learned about in my freshman bio class. Silla reminds me of the word silly.

I think it would depend. Is this intended to be a nickname to Priscilla? I think both would work if that is the case.

IDK I'm kind of leaning towards Silla.

No it is not intended to be a nickname to Priscilla. Cilla or Silla would be her first name.

I can't decide! Cilla makes me think "kill-uh" when I see it, like how Cillian is like "kill-ian". But Silla makes me think "see-yuh" for the same reason Katie stated, in spanish it would be more like "see-ya". Hmm!

My mum's friend's name is spelled Scilla, but I do prefer the Cilla spelling.
