Hello! I am in need of a lot of help! I will try not to be confusing :D . I'm writing a story (obviously) and have a list of names I would like your opinion. All characters go to a boarding school on the east coast. First, I would like your opinion on the girls names I have found so far. Most include a last name. Do you like? Dislike? Why? Second, I would like your opinion on the boys names I have found so far. Do you like? Dislike? Which are your favorite? Not all will be used and I am looking for a lot more. The names for both boys and girls are pretty different. All characters are between the ages of 15-19. I like that the names aren't completely common, so please be open minded about them, I'm sure you haven't heard some of them often, if at all. :P Third, if you have any last name suggestions that you believe would sound nice with a name or just any last name suggestion because you think it would fit or like it, that would be great. Last names are difficult for me sometimes. Fourth, if you have any suggestions for a boy or girl name that fits a sibling description PLEASE PLEASE feel free to share. For example, Aerie Dashwood has an older brother that doesn't have a name yet. If you think one of the boys names I have listed (or one of your own) would sound good with Aerie and the last name Dashwood, let me know! I am looking for a total of about 20-30 name combinations for each gender. Most characters are minor, but appear enough to need a first and last name. Thank you for reading this! Fifth, if you have any suggestions/criticism/praise/comments in general please let me know. Also, you don't have to do all five steps. If you only have a last name suggestion or whatever, that's welcome. Thank you all so much.

GIRL FIRST/LAST NAMES
Aerie Dashwood (one older brother - needs name)
Seneca Watts (one twin brother OR one slighty older brother - needs name)
Brynn Tyler (twin sister to Brynn. Not sure if identical or fraternal. not sure if they have other sibs. suggestions?)
Essie Tyler (read above - also suggestions on a full name that Essie would be a nickname for??)
Natalie Blake (two younger brothers, 14 and 10 - both need names)
Audrina Hastings (twin sister to Olivia. not sure if ident. or frat. def. + sib(s). not sure gender or age. suggestions?)
Olivia Hastings (read above)
Dakota Wellington (two brothers, one definitely older, not sure for other, maybe a sister too...names suggestions?)
Anna West (definitely has sibling(s). not sure on gender or age. suggestions?)
Peyton Bell (one older sister - need name)
Makenna Lawson (not sure on Lawson) (not sure if only child or not. maybe step siblings? suggestions?)
Savannah (not sure of last name) (only child)

BOY FIRST NAMES (some will have girl's last names for siblings)
Aiden
James
Braden
Christian
Heath
Liam Patrick
Sawyer
Tynan (TIE-NIN)
Cullen
Brennan

Thanks Hayden! You helped a lot! I actually had Archer as a name on a list, but erased it! I'm starting to like it for Aerie's brother. She can call him Archie, but he gets mad when others call him that! :P Do you think Archer Dashwood sounds nice?

I'm not sure about Seneca's brother. Nothing seems to sound original like Seneca. I'm still looking for that one! But thank you for your suggestions for her brother.

I like Brynn, Essie and Callie for the Tyler sisters. What do you think? Still not sure on full name for Essie. I like Emse, but I don't think it really fits. Plus, all I think about it Twilight. lol. Maybe something that doesn't start with Es but instead has -ess IN the name? Like Alessandra, but not that name necessarily. Do you know what I mean? I've decided they will be fraternal.

I like Aaron and Zachary for Natalie's siblings, but still not sure. It just doesn't feel right. Plus, I know a bazillion Zach's. lol.

You're right. Olivia and Audrina sound fraternal! And they're not going to have any siblings other than themselves and their twin.

The names for Anna's siblings are nice, but don't feel right. I'm going to keep looking for more classic, short names.

Looove Peyton and Riley! Great suggestion!

I like your suggestions for Makenna. I think her step sister will be Delaney Cruz/Cruise and will actually be the same age as Makenna. A little sibling rivalry makes for a great story! lol. That way Delaney can have the last name Cruz/Cruise and I can keep Makenna Lawton.

Still not sure for Savannah's last name, but that you for the suggestions. I like last names that (this is going to sound stupid, I just know it :D ) but I like last names that 'sound' rich. Like Dashwood, Wellington, Hastings, etc. They sound rich to me.

I've decided to stick with Aiden James (I've decided to use James as a last name! What do you think?), Christian, Heath, Liam Patrick, Sawyer, Tynan, Ryder/Rider (which spelling do you prefer? I kind of like with a -y sometimes, but then I like it with an -i sometimes! lol. this is hard.), Palmer.

I think I will use Brennan for a last name, because I'm not really feeling it as a first name right now, but I do want to use it. Any names that sounds nice with last name Brennan?

Still not sure if I'm going to use Easton or Carter...UGH! lol. I can't decide on anything! lol. Same with Ransom. It's quirky and a word-name which is why I like it. I'm reading a series of books and one main character is a guy named Easy. When I first heard it I was like "Easy?!" But, it's growing on me. :P

Some last names I have thought of: Alderson, Walsh, Brennan
Boys names: Landon, Finley, Kain/Kane, Parker, Stone, Holden, Declan. WDYT? I also like Parker as a last name. Savannah Parker. What do you think?

Thanks so much for your help!

I used what you said in both of your posts, and also gave some sibling names for the boys names, just in case you wanted that.
Aerie and Archer Dashwood is such a good sibset! Both are such good names. I like the Archie nickname idea too.
Seneca Watts and: Soren, Griffin, Jarrett, Tucker, Rowan, Shea
Brynn and Essie Tyler (and Callie)- I like these a lot. Essie should have a short first name, since her twin is Brynn. Maybe Leslie? Alessa?
Natalie Blake- Cute. For her brothers I like Mitchell and Oliver; Lucas and Alexander; Daniel and Victor
Audrina and Olivia Hastings- Love it! Such pretty names!
Dakota Wellington- you could go with a theme thing and name them Georgia, Dallas, Austin, Orlando, Boston, Aspen, etc. That might be cute.
Peyton and Riley Bell works.
Makenna Lawson sounds good... and I like Delaney Cruise
Savannah I like Parker or Montgomery

Aiden James- Nice
Christian Dumont
Heath, Graham and Stella Upton
Liam Patrick
Sawyer Bradford
Tynan and Declan McGinty
Cullen Danvers
Ryder and Tucker Stone
Kane and Hunter Brennan
Easton Carter
Palmer and Carrington (sister) York

Last names: Salem, Danvers, Wenham, Needham, Bradford (all towns in Massachusetts, so they have that old blood feel to them)
Whitman, York, Crenshaw, Ford, anything that’s Van or Van der (Van der Woodsen), Prior, Kennedy

Hope this helps!

-Dani

Archer Dashwood sounds really nice! Archer and Aerie sound really nice together! Archie would be a cute nn, and the type a guy probubly wouldn't like, lol :P

More brother names for Seneca...
Seneca and Phinneas
Seneca and Niles/Nyles/Miles/Myles
Seneca and Judah
Seneca and Nicholas
Seneca and Vassilis
Seneca and Leonidas
Seneca and Elias
Seneca and Thanassis
Seneca and Ulysses
I looked up some mythological names and some greek names, cause those seemed like the type that would match, but Seneca is a gorgeous name and has a real beauty to it. It sounds really original :P so I have to agree finding a name to fit will be hard, but I hope these help!

Other Essie's:
Alessa (like BellaBoo said), or Alessia
Francesca (though kinda long compaired to Brynn...)
Genesis
Maybe Jessica/Jessa, but Jessica/Jessa would more likely be Jessie than Essie...
Sorry I'm not of much help there, Brynn, Essie, and Callie Tyler sound nice, though!

Aaron, Zachary, and Natalie sound nice! Here's more:
Natalie, Oliver, and Gavin
Natalie, Mason, and Trevor
Natalie, Ian, and Holden
Natalie, Devon, and Jackson
Natalie, Ever/Everist/Everett/Rhett, and Stephan
Natalie, Drew/Andrew, and Finn/Finley

Anna, Dana, and Louis/Louise
Anna, Claire, and Chase
Anna, Tessa, and Trey/Troy
Anna, Beth, and Josh(ua)
Anna, Lilah, and Haley
Anna, Brett/Rhett, and Alex
Anna, Isabel, and Julia
Anna, Molly, and Caleb
Anna, Sadie, and Levi
Anna, Ella, and Owen
Anna, Lucy, and Theo/Toby
Anna. Naomi, and Rene(e)
Anna, Emily, and Hope
Anna, Juliet, and Elena
Anna, Ross, and Clay
Lol, here's a long list! WDYT?

Thanks :D I love how Peyton and Riley sound together!

Delaney Cruise and Makenna Lawton sound really nice together! Sibling rivalry is pretty fun :P

Okay, hows about these last names, then:
Savannah Williams
Savannah Ryan
Savannah George
Savannah Montgomery
Savannah Grant
Savannah Tessier
Savannah Grayson
Do these sound rich to you? But if their at boarding school, they most likey have a pretty lot of money :o so sounding rich makes sense. But Savannah Parker also sounds nice

Ryder is my favortie spelling when used as a first name =)
Sawyer Brennen, Declan Walsh, and Finley Alderson? I love all the names you picked for the boys! Especially Finley, Holden, Declan, Sawyer, and Liam Patrick!

I think Easton and Carter are okay, but both would sound nice as last names, like Holden Carter and Heath Easton. Ransom is okay, I know a boy by that name, but don't care for it.

Are these better? ~Had

Thanks so much for all of your help! You both helped a lot! Soo...these are my notes when looking through both of your suggestions (and a few of my own).

Brynn, Essie and Callie: I've decided Essie will be short for....Celeste! WDYT? I think it's a pretty name and sounds nice with Brynn and Callie. Still unsure what Callie will be short for, if anything.

As you both suggested, Delaney's last name will be Cruise since Cruz would be if she was Hispanic.

Dakota Wellington's brother will be...Denver Wellington! WDYT? I loved the suggestion of using a city and Denver is really handsome IMO. My mom really likes it too. :D

Savannah's last name will be Parker, Montgomery, or Slater. Which sounds better? I think she will be the b!tchy girl at the school, if that helps the decision. Either way, I think Parker will be a last name, if not for her than someone else.

Natalie's brothers: Mitchell and Connor? WDYT? Still not 100% on those, but I do like them. (Last name Blake remember)

I love Christian Dumont! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Thanks a billion!

I like Heath, Graham, and Stella Upton. They'll be British. :P Age suggesions? Heath is 16 or 17 for sure. Graham can be younger, but not too young. Stella? I'm thinking maybe 15? A freshman?

I like the suggestion of Tynan and Declan being related because it gave me another idea! They will be best friends! Thanks! lol.

I like Kane and Hunter Brennan. It sounds nice together, but I have a Hunter in another story. Would that be weird? And I'm starting to rethink Kane, because it just doesn't feel right. Unsure about this one!

Question: Easton Carter or Carter Easton? I think both sound GREAT, but I kind of want to use both names as a first name...I'm at a loss. lol. Opinions?

LOVE Palmer and Carrington for siblings! Carri for nickname? WDYT? Also, York sounds good with those names, but I'm going to keep looking for now, just in case.

Seneca's brother: What do you think of Nicholas/Nikolas or Nikolai? I'm still trying to find something as exotic sounding! lol.

What do you think of Anna, Emma and Henry West?

Also, I like the nickname Cam for a boy! WDYT of Camden?

Also, Audrina and Olivia aren't going to be twins anymore. My mom suggested I don't have so many twins to make it sound more realistic. Also, I think they sound nice as Audrina (older) and Olivia (younger). WDYT?

Also, I like the name Nicole Fields for another girl, nickname Cole. (She hates being called Nikki :P ) Like? Dislike?

More last names: Cash, Wayne (as long as the first name isn't Bruce, lol), Slater, Buchanan, Emerson
More boys names: Luke, Ethan, Vincent, Tristain, Trevor, Camden

Like Ryder with an 'y'. Thanks!

So...I think that's it. For now. Thanks again, both of you (Hayden Taylor and bellaboo) have helped A TON!

Brynn, Essie, and Callie
I love that Essie is short for Celeste! The name is beautiful and it's not something I would have come up with - nice and creative.
Callie could be short for Calandra.

Dakota and Denver
I love that idea! It's sweet, without being annoying. And Denver sounds really strong and handsome to me

Savannah
I like Savannah Montgomery best

Blake
I think that Mitchell and Conner Blake sound great, and they fit nicely with Natalie

Upton
Love all the names. Heath = 16/17, so a junior? Stella = 15, freshman. Graham = maybe 12/13/14, grade seven/eight-ish

Carter Easton
Just sounds better to me than Easton Carter.

Seneca's Brother
I love Nikolai. It's creative, just like Seneca

Anna, Emma, Henry West
Like them. I would have Henry go by Harry personally.

Cam
Love the Camden Parker :D

Olivia and Audrina
I agree with your mom - more realistic to have them just be sisters. I agree Olivia should be younger.

Nicole Fields
I like it; especially the Cole part - creative :P

Good luck! Your names are gorgeous! I wish I was as creative with my names :P

Celeste is nice for a fuller name for Essie!!! Callie can be short for Calliope, but just Callie is nice
As you both suggested, Delaney's last name will be Cruise since Cruz would be if she was Hispanic.

Dakota and Denver Wellington, very nice!

Savannah Montgomery is really long, so unless maybe she has no middle name it might work. If she's going to be the bad girl type, I think Savannah Slater would be best!

Natalie, Mitchell, and Connor Blake! Love it!

Christian Dumont is nice :D

Heath can be 17, Stella 15, and Graham 12!

Well, unless your publishing both stories, its not too weird to have a Hunter in two stories. Hunter and Kane are okay.

I like Carter Easton best :P

LOVE Palmer and Carrington for siblings! Carri for nickname? WDYT? Also, York sounds good with those names, but I'm going to keep looking for now, just in case.
Carrington and Palmer York are nice :P Carri is a nice nn!

Seneca and Nikolai!!! They sound great together!

Anna, Emma and Henry West sound very good together!

Camden is nice with the nn Cam

I agree, it is more realistic to have less twins. Audrina definately sounds older.

Nicole Fields is nice, but that would be kinda close to Nikolai if thats used

Luke Parker
Ethan Wayne
Trevor Camden (but called by his last name, by Cam)
Tristan Cash
Vincent Emerson

GL! ~Had

Thank you for your input rosetinkerbelle!

I would have never come with Celeste on my own! Babynamesworld.com has an engine where you can search for names with all sorts of whacked out criteria! I searched for girls names that contain the letters -es and that came up! :D
What do you think of Calla with the nickname Callie? I just saw it on the polls and thought it was pretty!

For the Uptons: I think Heath will actually be 18 (senior), Graham, 16 ( a junior) and Stella, 15 (freshman). WDYT?

I think I'll go with Nikolas or Nikolai for Seneca's brother. The 'k' makes it more exotic to me! lol.

I'm glad you like Camden Parker and Nicole Fields! Well, does Fields sound nice with Nicole and Cole? Because I first came up Nikki Fields and thought that sounded great, but since she won't go by Nikki...does it still sound good? Nicole/Cole Wayne, Nicole/Cole Emerson...WDYT? Or should I just stick with Fields?

thanks again for your suggestions! I'm going to check out your post! And don't feel bad, it took me about three months to come up with the names I did before I started this post!

Calla is gorgeous! And flows beautifully with Brynn and Celeste, definitley sibling type names!

I agree - the 'k' definitley makes it seem more exotic! But 'k' in the place of a 'c' usually does, haha - Viktoria, Jessika, etc.

I like Fields with Nicole and Cole, I think they both sound nice. Nicole Fields, Cole Fields. Both are good in my books :D
