My husband wants to name our boy after his father Donato, but he goes by Danny.
I like the name Nico. So, we came up with Danico Anthony.
My husbands name is Anthony.

How would you pronounce Danico? Dan ico or Da nico?

Do you like the name?

Ehh, it feels a bit close to the girls name Danica/Danika, or to Danimals yogurt. What about a Don- name? Don, Donal, Donald, Donte/Dante, Donovan. Dan-: Daniel, Dane. Eh, I'm not so good at this suggesting business.

I would pronounce Dan-i-co (so, the second one)

I'd say it dah-KNEE-coh

Its not my style but not a bad name by any means. It makes me think of racing and cars the movie with the Dinico cup (i think thats the spelling but its pronounced DIE-nick-oh). I see Nico and think KNEE-coh though, I adore the name :) I've had Nikolai on and off my list.. Currently replaced with Nicastro (family name).

Anyway, Danico Anthony is alright. Nice honoring name that includes your favorite name as well :)

I would pronounce it DAN-i-co because it looks like the name Danica, so I would pronounce it similarly. It's not a bad name at all, it just looks like the male form of Danica. Not wacky or anything. Plus it honors family and it has a nn that you love! Danico Anthony sounds nice. :)
