Hi!! DH and I are really struggling with a baby girl name. We have two boys, Noah and Isaac. Having a Biblical name is really important to me. I like Esther but DH thinks it is too old ladyish. I think Essie is a cute nn. I would love some honest opinions!!!

Esther reminds me of the creepy girl in Orphan but I don't know how many people have seen that movie.
Other Biblical names:
Elizabeth
Mary
Josephine
Dorthea
Tabitha
Delilah
Lilith
Jezebel

Nameberry and Behindthename both have a huge list of Biblical girl names if you want to look at those.

I love the name Esther, personally. It's a favourite of mine. Yes, it might sound a little old ladyish, but I also think it's kind of coming back too.

I like Essie, but I have to agree with your husband... Esther does strike me as an "old lady name", unfortunately. Here are some suggestions you may be able to compromise on:

Abigail
Anna
Bethany
Deborah
Delilah
Eden
Edith
Elizabeth
Eve
Grace
Hannah
Hope
Joanna
Jordan
Josephine
Joy
Judith
Leah
Lydia
Martha
Mary
Miriam
Naomi
Phoebe
Rachel
Rebecca
Ruth
Sarah
Sharon
Susannah
