Is this too out there as first name? I know a lot of mythological names are usable but I don't think either of these are there quite yet.
If they were in the realm of normal which one would you prefer? They sound similar so I would have to use either one or the other.
What names would you pair it with? Either as a first name or a middle name? I rather like Isaiah Aries or Ares Gregor.

Sorry, but I'm not a fan, probably because I know a bunch of Greek mythology stories and since Ares is one of the main twelve gods, it feels a bit to me like people in other cultures naming their children Jesus (although that would correlate more to Zeus, but still). Though while it doesn't feel usable to me as a first name, it could possibly be an okay middle name, though I'd definitely say to use the spelling Ares because Aries feels feminine and is a zodiac sign, so that gives off a completely different feel. I do think Isaiah Ares is a rather handsome combo, but I wouldn't suggest using Ares as a first name. This is just my opinion, however--do what you like

I love Aries! There's a comedian names Aries Spears and I've always adored his name

Thanks ladies! I was trying to think up something related to the stars since we'd spend so long stating at them and planning our lives or something related to Martin/Marcus/Mars and figured hey, let's look at the Greek side of things.
