so the other day I was on the phone with my mom and we were talking baby names. She told me she had heard about a woman who had named her child orangejello. Pronounced Or-an-gelo. But spelt Orange jello. I don't know where she heard it from n I don't think I wanna kno.
I also saw once on tv that this couple had named their child Espn, pronounced es-pin, because the father was a bit fan of the tv channel.
What do u guys think of these names? And do u have any other names that fit into ur opinion of the 'strange name' category?

i work at teh airport and the amount of 'odd' names that come through are insane. one that sticks out s a baby called Mango and Burt-Enkelstein(the family were aussies and the other two babys were emma and adele so i thought that was weird) there was Adreliline last name Rush, ive go so many i cant think right now but these poor kids i feel so bad for them and my face when i check them in sometimes must be priceless as i pause for a minute to see if they are serious, the id is whipped out and i cant believe it!

I've never met anyone in person with really odd names, really. I mean, I know a girl named Destiny. But thats not that weird.

I've heard of Orangejello, and apparently the sibling was Lemonjello or something? idk. I wouldn't know, because I haven't seen this people in real life lol.

I did read articles where baby names were banned, cause parents tried naming their kiddo's Sexfruit, Crystal Meth, and names of that sort. I had the link to a website a while back all about banned baby names.. where countries made it illegal to name your kiddo particular things. If you google ''illegal baby names" I'm sure you'll find plenty of strange names!

Idk anyone personally with a wierd name either. I like that banning names thing tho, I once heard about a lady, a drug addict, that named her son Steinlager, like the beer, and her daughter Sexilynn. Yeah I kno.... I'm definetly gonna Google that tho, probably be a good laugh!

Orangejello and Lemonjello are urban legends. I saw ESPN too though - I found out there are at least 3 in the US, which I think is kind of ridiculous.

New Zealand seems to have a lot of names like this: Violence, Number 16 Bus Shelter, Keenan Got Lucy, Sex Fruit, 4real/Superman, Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii, Midnight Chardonnay, Yeah Detroit, Twisty Poi, Fish And Chips. Some were banned and some weren't.

I don't know too many people in real life with strange names like this but I've heard of a few. My younger cousin went to elementary school with a Chaos and a Chaotic. I've heard the names "Slayer" and "Tierraney" being called at the park before (the latter one is said like "tyranny"). I wonder how many of these kids will be changing their names in the future.
