What are your thoughts on the name Micaiah? I don't remember where I saw this name, but it was sometime yesterday. I actually really like it, because I love the feel of names like Jeremiah, Zachariah, Micah, etc. I just looked it up and this is what it said: Micaiah is the son of Imlah is a prophet in the Hebrew Bible.
What do you think of it? Does it sound too feminine, even though it's a boy name? I like it, but I'm still not sure about it yet.

I've not heard it before either. I like it. Not sure how to pronounce it, but I like it.(:
I don't think it's too feminine for a boy, and would probably transition well as he grew up.

Is that pronounced the same way as Makiya? (Ma-kye-ah) I know the duggars named one of their baby girls Jordan Makiya. I've heard that name a few other places but always on girls, not boys. I've never seen it spelt Micaiah so I dont know if its the same name or not. I like Makiya and Micaiah probably because I love names like Mikayla, Mckenna, Mckenzie, etc. Micaiah sounds more like a girls name than a boys name to me though, I dont think it really goes well on a boy. That might just be me though!

It reminds me a lot of the name Michael, so I that's why I think it's a good name for a boy.
Although, it would sound good for either gender really!

It's pronounced muh-kai-uh, I guess like Mikaya. I like it better for a boy, because it reminds me of Mikai and Malachi.

I like it, I agree it sounds like a twist on the name Michael.
