Looking for help with a girls name. I've got a pretty common last name so definitiely looking for something a little less common in the first. We are avid travelers so drawn a bit towards geographic based names (but not exclusively).

Intersted in getting feedback on our current short-list..

My favorites from your list are Alexandra, Brooklyn, Vienna, Leah, and Aria.  All of them sound great with your surname!

Alexandra may be a little too popular for you... I've met dozens of Alexandras/Alex's/Lexi's, etc. before.  But I still think it's a lovely name!  Brooklyn is a bit "trendy" sounding, but the fact that it refers to Brooklyn, New York makes it a little more useable to me.  Vienna is unexpected and pretty - not too common but not too 'out-there.'  Leah is classic and pretty - not too common, but definitely well-known, especially since it's a Biblical name.  And finally Aria is gaining a lot of attention, making it a bit trendy as well, but I still think it's a nice name that flows well with your last name.

I wouldn't use Berlin, Alisa, or Xianne.  Berlin seems a bit masculine to me, and I worry that a girl named Berlin might be mistaken for a boy at first.  Though I like Alisa (one of my best friend's names is Alissa!), I think it's a bit dated, given the usage of Alyssa-Alissa-Alisa in the 90's.  And Xianne I think is just a bit too unusual - at first glance, I have no idea how to pronounce it, and I think misspellings would be really common.

I hope this helps!
