Hey everyone! In a story Ive been working on for awhile, there is constant mention of an Urban Legend, which is mostly based in fact but the subjects are sort of Godly to the generation I focus on (late teens).
They will be referred to by name (ie, "Jack and Jill", not "the legend of the blahblahblah") because they are household names.

What do you think of Roan/Rowan and Lucasta? They don't really have a personality, but They are lovers who escape a tyrannical society. WDYT of the names? Do they flow together? What "feel" do they have?

I prefer the spelling Roan, and it is a fine name. Lucasta is however very awkward to read. Are you plannig on using a nickname like Lucy?

Roan is more feminine/unisex in my opinion, and I usually think of it as a girls name.

I like Rowan...it reminds me of and has the same sort of feel/style as Tristan (as in Tristan and Isolde)

Rowan & Lucasta

I'm not sure about Lucasta...the flow of the two names seems a bit disjointed and they dont have the rhythm of other famous couples. Romeo & Juliet (both with three syllables and same emphasis on the last syllable), Tristan & Isolde (both with two syllables)

Rowan & Anthea (I think the repeated AN sound in both names makes them sound great together)

i actually find lucasta natural enough; are you accenting the name as lucásta? seems rather ruggedly masculine to me. if so, roen and lucasta sound excellent (they're both boys, yes?)
